Ye’s antisemitic comments and behavior have been far from subtle. The Grammy-winning artist had previously declared his admiration for Adolf Hitler and that he is a “Nazi”.

However, after the recent Super Bowl stunt, West has decided to backtrack on the statement with a new post on X.

Ye with his new tweet seems to be backtracking to his Nazi statements. In a tweet posted on X, Ye says “After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.” Ye in the past has publicly supported the German dictator Adolf Hitler and has also declared himself as a Nazi.

In one tweet, Ye says “I love Hitler, how what bi-es,” followed up with “I’m a Nazi.” He also went on to add “Hitler was sooooo fresh” and “Yaydolf Yitler.”

History of Antisemitism

Ye has been involved in antisemitic activities for the past few years. In October 2022, Ye went off on an antisemitic rant, including the “Death Con 3”. This behavior led to Ye losing his contract with companies like Adidas, Def Jam, Balenciaga, Gap, and more.

West had also appeared on Alex Jones’ show where he made comments like “I love Hitler.” More recently, Ye pulled off a publicity stunt where he advertised his clothing site by buying a Super Bowl ad, only to replace the products on the website with swastika t-shirts once the ad had run.

He marked each of these T-shirts for $20 and later claimed that he generated a revenue of $40 million.
