Kanye West took to social media in a heated tirade, calling out some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including Kendrick Lamar, Playboi Carti, and Future. He voiced frustrations over industry politics, personal betrayals, and his exclusion from projects while criticizing Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” and accusing Playboi Carti of crossing the line by involving his daughter, North West.

Ye vs. Playboi Carti

Ye’s frustration with Playboi Carti began when he discovered he had been left off Music, despite previously collaborating with Carti. His anger escalated when Carti allegedly asked Kim Kardashian to let North West contribute vocals to the album.

I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER,” Ye wrote on X. “I DONT A F–K ABOUT NONE OF THIS INDUSTRY SHIT…THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS.

To mock Carti, Ye referenced the rapper’s ex, Iggy Azalea, and their son, Onyx. He posted,

HEY IGGG AZALEA I NEED TO GET ONYX VOCALS ON MY SONG THATS MY NEPHEW OH AND IMA RAP ABOUT ONE OF YOUR BUSINESSES.

Azalea fired back, telling Ye to leave her child out of the feud.

Ye, I understand the point you want to make. I say this with kindness & as a mother: Please, leave my child out of this.

Ye’s Issues with Kendrick Lamar and Others

Ye also used his social media rant to criticize Kendrick Lamar, stating that he “HAAAAAATED” Not Like Us, Lamar’s diss track aimed at Drake. His comments were unexpected, as Ye had previously praised Lamar’s lyrical skills.

Additionally, Ye targeted Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Travis Scott, and Future, expressing frustration over how the industry has distanced itself from him.

NOBODY GET A PASS I WAS A PART OF SO MANY OF THESE NIGGAS SUCCESS

He also blamed his own antisemitic comments for the industry’s rejection, saying,

EVERY NIGGA IN THE INDUSTRY IS A SLAVE TO THIS F—-T A– JEWISH INDUSTRY EVERRRYYYYY ONE.

Ye also took a shot at Tyler, the Creator, claiming he had never made a “memorable song” and accusing him of copying Ye’s style. He further criticized Future and Metro Boomin for allegedly asking him to be on a Like That remix but then ignoring him afterward.

The Industry’s Reaction

Unlike past controversies, most of the artists Ye targeted have remained silent. However, Playboi Carti responded directly, posting, “YE STFU,” which received over 660,000 likes, far more engagement than Ye’s own posts.

Kim Kardashian has not responded publicly, but reports suggest she took legal action to block North West’s vocals from appearing on Ye’s latest music.

Ye’s New Album Bully

Ye’s rants coincided with the release of his new album Bully, which he dropped as a short film through a password-protected link rather than traditional streaming services. It remains unclear whether he will release the album on major platforms.

Ye’s Increasingly Controversial Behavior

Ye’s latest social media rants add to a growing list of controversies. In recent months, he has faced backlash for antisemitic comments, including posting, “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT B*****ES,” and “IM A NAZI.” He was also seen wearing and selling swastika T-shirts.

Additionally, a former Yeezy staffer recently sued him, alleging sexual harassment and antisemitic abuse, including texts from Ye saying, “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”

What’s Next?

With Bully now released as a short film and Ye’s ongoing feuds dominating headlines, it remains to be seen whether his latest outbursts will reignite public interest or continue to be largely ignored. His unpredictable actions have left fans and the music industry divided—some see him as a genius pushing boundaries, while others believe he has gone too far.
