After making it to the news with the disastrous Grammy appearance and the Twitter meltdown, West stoops to another low as he deceives advertisers to promote a Swastika T-shirt using a Super Bowl ad.

Yeezy.com

An ad aired on Sunday night for a Super Bowl game featuring Kanye West for what appeared to be a clothing site called Yeezy.com. The 30-second ad featured West in a dentist's office talking about how he blew the budget and shot this ad on an iPhone.

He says “So what’s up, guys, I spent, like, all the money for the commercial on these new teeth. So once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone. Um … um … go to yeezy.com.” The ad was aired on a local television spot, playing only in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.

Swastika T-shirts

The ad at first instance seemed harmless as it featured basic unbranded clothing items like t-shirts, socks, and hoodies. However, people noticed that within an hour of the ad being broadcast, the products available on the website were changed.

All the products initially available on the website were removed and replaced with a single white t-shirt with a swastika on it. The product was marked as “HH - 01” which represents “Heil Hitler” and was marked with a price tag of $20. By the time one could figure out what had happened, the ad had already aired.

Kanye West and Antisemitism

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time that Kanye has indulged in antisemitic activities. A few days before the ad aired, West took to Twitter to write “I love Hitler” and “I’m a Nazi.”

West has also stated that “I’m never apologizing for my Jewish comments” as well as “I’m racist stereotypes exist for a reason and they all be true” in a now-deleted tweet.

He further adds “Some of my best friends are Jewish and I don’t trust any of them.” West’s antisemitic comments have received criticism from the industry.
