Sonja Norwood sued Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian Jr. in 2008, alleging credit card fraud. Kim Kardashian was working as Brandy's stylist at the time, with Khloé Kardashian serving as her personal assistant.

Background of the Allegations

Sonja Norwood sued the Kardashian siblings in 2008, accusing them of making fraudulent payments on her American Express card totaling more than $120,000. At the time, Kim Kardashian worked as Brandy's stylist and was given the credit card for professional purposes. Norwood claimed that Kim shared the card information with her siblings, who then used it for personal expenditures, such as replenishing their stores, Dash, and Smooch.

Resurgence of the Controversy

Recently, conversations on social media platforms have brought the old litigation back to public attention. Critics claim that this episode is part of a larger pattern of claimed appropriation by the Kardashian-Jenner family, citing other occasions in which they have been accused of stealing designs from other producers.

Impact on the Kardashian Brand

The emergence of these allegations has sparked renewed debate regarding the Kardashians' business methods. While they have developed a profitable brand empire, controversies like this call into question the ethical foundations of their business activities.
