Blake Lively can't keep her out of the headlines as another controversial article was published about the ongoing issue of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. The story was published this Friday and was written by Peter Kiefer. It's been trending since it was published, as it is something Blake is not ready for.

All about the article

The title of the article looked like a wrestling battle title, "Blake vs. Baldoni: An Exclusive Look Behind the Battle Lines of Hollywood's Uncivil War," written by Peter Kiefer. The content of the story deeply talked about Baldoni’s Baha’i faith, a religion that was founded in Iran in the mid-19th century, and how its culture might have influenced the now-infamous feud.

A spokesperson for Lively addressed the media, stating that the Hollywood Reporter should be ashamed of itself. The framing of the picture is quite insulting to the actress, as it perpetuates a sexist trope about women who dare to file complaints in the workplace. The spokesperson also emphasized that the story is extremely offensive, as it inappropriately compares the serious issue of sexual harassment to cultural misunderstanding.

The image features a character named Nicepool, who is based on Deadpool. This character is part of a lawsuit that Baldoni filed against Ryan Reynolds, claiming bullying and damage to his reputation. Lively reacted to the cover image on X, which shows her attacking Baldoni with a phone while he runs away holding the bestselling book, It Ends with Us, the basis for the romantic dramedy.

The ongoing facade between the two

Blake vs. Baldoni has been in the trends for about a month now. They both are going to have a trial about the sexual harassment complaint on 9th March 2026. Recently, Blake has filed an amended complaint against Baldoni, in which two more unnamed actresses came forward to give testimony about the unwelcome behavior of Baldoni on the sets of It Ends with Us.

Baldoni has also filed a defamation lawsuit of $400 million against Ryan Reynolds, husband of Blake Lively, for making fun of him with the character of Nicepool in his recent Deadpool and Wolverine movie.

Industry and Public Reactions

The cover and article have started a big debate in the entertainment industry and among the public. Critics say the portrayal promotes harmful stereotypes and makes light of serious workplace harassment claims. Supporters of Lively praise her for speaking out against what they see as biased media representation.
