The 31st SAG Awards streamed on Netflix on Sunday, hosted by Kristen Bell. The award function took place in the Shrine Auditorium Los Angeles. The biggest Hollywood stars were present there to bring the charm to the award show. The red carpet stories are all over the internet now. The winners' names will be remembered by the people and appreciative of their work. From TV to Hollywood, we will tell you everything that happened at the SAG Awards. 


Hollywood film category winners

In the film category, Conclave won the award for best performance by a cast. Timothee Chalamet won the Best Leading Actor for his movie A Complete Unknown. The movie is based on some historical events of Bob Dylan’s life. It's all about the rise to fame of Bob Dylan's life in the 1960s. After winning the award he was happy and emotional, both at the same time. In his winning speech, he talked to his fans from the bottom of his heart. Here you can read more about it. 

Demi Moore won the award for Best Actress Leading Role for the substance. Kieran Culkin won the award for best-supporting actor in the film A Real Pain. Zoe Saldana won the best actress in a supporting role for Emilia Perez.

During the pre-show, the winners in stunt ensemble categories were revealed, with The Fall Guy winning this award in the film category.

  • Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role: Timothée Chalamet for A Complete Unknown
  • Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role: Demi Moore for The Substance
  • Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role: Kieran Culkin for A Real Pain
  • Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role: Zoe Saldaña for Emilia Pérez
  • Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture: The Fall Guy

Tv Categories winners

The TV show Shogun won three awards, including best drama series ensemble. Anna Sawai received the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series, and Hiroyuki Sanada won Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Only Murders in the Building won the award for Best Comedy Series, while Martin Short was named Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on the show. Jean Smart won the award for the best actress in a comedy series for Hacks.

Baby Reindeer, a limited TV series actress Jessica Gunning won the award for best actress in a TV movie. Colin Farrell was named best actor in the TV movie The Penguin.

Jane Fonda Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Veteran actress and activist Jane Fonda received the SAG Life Achievement Award for her impressive career and contributions to acting. In her acceptance speech, Fonda stressed the importance of empathy. She encouraged her fellow actors to get involved in social issues, saying that being "woke" means caring about others.
