Sultan of Brunei’s Audi Car Collection

The Sultan of Brunei's Audi car collection is not as huge as his Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, or Bentley car collections.

In his garage of almost 7,000 cars, there are only around two dozen Audis. It includes the comfy and sophisticated flagship A8 sedan and monstrously fast R8. 

The Audi section of the Sultan also features the dynamic S6 which is the perfect companion for long rides.

That said, the Sultan's Audi collection represents a wide range of cars catering to luxury and performance. Some other models include the A3, TT, and the 200. 

Audi A8

The Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah’s royal garage holds at least nine Audi A8 models. From the leaked images of his car collection, we have seen a silver polished sedan with chassis number WAUZZZ4DZSN004567 which appears to be an early 2000s model. 

The details on the rest of Audi’s flagship cars in Sultan’s possessions are yet to come out.

Audi 200

There is only one reported Audi 200 (chassis number: WAUZZZ44ZEA180972) in the Sultan’s car collection. There are no leaked images or details of the 200 available yet. That said, the Audi 200 was launched at the 1979 Frankfurt Show. 

Meanwhile, not many known celebrities have taken an interest in the Audi 200. Even Jay Leno's fleet of 180+ cars doesn't have a single 200 model despite it being rather inexpensive. 

Well, not that Leno has any shortage of money given his net worth is around $450 million which are pennies in front of the Sultan of Brunei who is worth close to $30 billion.

Audi R8

Audi’s famous performance coupe/convertible has managed to find a few spots in the Sultan of Brunei’s garage. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah owns two units of the Audi R8 but the body styles of either remain a secret.

Furthermore, he also has an Audi R8 GT which is likely from the last year of the R8’s production. That said, the high-performance Audi isn't just a prized item of the Sultan of Brunei's collection. 

It has also found places in some of the most famous people in the world from various industries. From Hollywood actor Chris Evans to Spanish footballer, Sergio Ramos, each has fancied keeping at least one R8 in their possession.

Audi A3

The Sultan of Brunei’s Audi collection doesn't feature all expensive and rare cars. With two A3 models in his possession, it indicates that the Sultan has an interest in everyday cheaper luxury rides as well. 

Besides him, there are a couple of names in the celebrity world such as James Rodriguez who have decided to buy the entry-level budget Audi.

The exact body styles, colors, and specs of Sultan’s Audis are yet to be revealed. However, we do know the chassis number of the Sultan's Audis: WAUZZZ8LZVA098307 and WAUZZZ8LZVA096954.

Audi A4 Models

It could be its comfort or just looks, there is something about the A4 that has attracted the interest of famous personalities such as Charles Barkley and Cillian Murphy. 

Hence, it is unsurprising that the Sultan of Brunei gave the A4 a space in his garage. His A4 has a chassis number : WAU2228DZSA126636. Other details will be updated as soon as they are out. 

Besides that, Sultan’s garage also includes an Audi A4 Avant (chassis number: WACZZZ8CZSZ001293).

Audi S6

The S6 is the performance version of the A6 model. It has been in production since 1994. Brunei’s head of the state owns two S6 models, and details on them have not been made publicly available. 

The S6 is also popular among some Hollywood celebs such as Zac Efron and Emma Stone.

Audi TT

The Sultan of Brunei’s Audi car collection features four TT models. He likely has a coupe and a roadster, both body styles. Sultan's personal reasons after the TT's purchase remain private. 

However, who wouldn't want a sporty ride with nice looks? We know at least Brett Favre has fallen prey to the Audi TT's charm.

Miscellaneous

Sultan also owns one more Audi model which has been published only as the  “Audi Quattro” by Dupont Registry. Its number plate is BH3735 and its chassis number is WAUZZZ85ZEA901036. 

From the limited information, our best guess is that the Audi Quattro in question is the RS 5 coupe model.
