Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Collaborate on New Album
After weeks of teasing with a TikTok studio clip and fan speculation, Selena Gomez and her fiancé, producer Benny Blanco, have officially teamed up for an entire album. The pop star took to Instagram to share the news, posting a cozy series of photos with Blanco and writing, “I always trick you guys. Blanco also shared the announcement on his social media, posting behind-the-scenes clips from the couple’s album photoshoot. “I can’t believe I get to spend the rest of my life with you,” he captioned the video.
First Single: “Scared of Loving You”
The first track from the album, “Scared of Loving You,” was released on February 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The song was accompanied by a lyric video, showing Gomez and Blanco spending a relaxed morning together.
This isn’t the first time the couple has worked together on music. Blanco co-produced "Kill Em with Kindness" and "Same Old Love" from Gomez’s 2015 album Revival. They later collaborated on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” with J Balvin and Tainy. Most recently, Blanco produced Gomez’s 2023 hit "Single Soon."
A Personal & Special Album
The album is expected to showcase a mix of emotional ballads and upbeat pop tracks, reflecting Gomez’s evolving artistry and personal journey. Fans can pre-order signed merchandise and exclusive editions of the album now.
Engagement & Future Plans
Gomez and Blanco started dating in June 2023 and announced their engagement in December 2024. In an interview, Gomez described her relationship with Blanco as “the safest I’ve ever felt” and confirmed that she sees a future with him.
With her return to music and a new chapter in her personal life, Selena Gomez is stepping into 2025 stronger than ever.
