Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert will mark the band’s last-ever live performance, bringing together the original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for the first time in two decades. The highly anticipated show will take place on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, and will feature an all-star lineup of rock and metal legends.

Guns N’ Roses & Tool Join the Show
Newly announced acts for the concert include Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and Rival Sons. Actor Jason Momoa will serve as the event’s host, while Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine will be the musical director. Other new additions to the lineup include Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, producer Andrew Watt, and former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.
Additional artists joining the event are Mike Bordin of Faith No More, Vernon Reid of Living Colour, and Whitfield Crane of Ugly Kid Joe.
A Heavy Metal Showdown
The concert will also feature performances from Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Halestorm, and Gojira. Individual guest appearances will include Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, and Tobias Forge of Ghost.
Ozzy Osbourne’s Limited Participation
Although this is Black Sabbath’s farewell concert, Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed that he will not perform a full set with the band due to his ongoing health challenges, including Parkinson’s disease. However, he will participate in select moments throughout the event.
Tickets Sold Out in Minutes
Tickets for Back to the Beginning went on sale on February 14 and sold out within 16 minutes, showing the immense demand for this historic final show.
Fans can expect an unforgettable night celebrating the legacy of one of rock’s most iconic bands.
