A Growing Legacy: Porsche x Aimé Leon Dore

Starting in 2020, Aimé Leon Dore (ALD), the high-end New York-based fashion brand managed by Teddy Santis, collaborated with Porsche to reinterpret vintage Porsche models with modern accents. Their previous collaborations included the restoration of Porsche 944, 964, and 356 B models. Each restoration filled the vehicles with design characteristics associated with the ALD aesthetic, which is noted for its rich, muted tones and luxury yet subtle elegance.

The 993 Turbo: The Latest Bespoke Creation

The Porsche 993 Turbo is the latest addition to the Porsche x Aimé Leon Dore collection. The automobile has been meticulously restored and includes distinctive elements such as the brand's signature Mulberry Green exterior color, a deep, rich shade that has become synonymous with ALD's character. The 993 Turbo has received various performance and cosmetic upgrades, including a Turbo S exhaust, front splitter, and the distinctive rear whale tail, which contribute to its  

powerful yet polished appearance.

Design Details: Inside and Out

Inside, the ALD touches are obvious. The 993 Turbo has a sumptuous dark brown leather inside with lambswool accents and teddy bear brown carpets, creating a pleasant and unique atmosphere. The handmade gold Unisphere gear knob is a striking element, paying reference to Aimé Leon Dore's hometown in Queens, New York. The slogan "A team from outta Queens with the American dream" is carved on the door sills as a personal reference to the brand's roots.
