Replacing GNX
The album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U also marks Drake’s first album after his public feud with Kendrick Lamar that escalated in March 2024 after the release of “Like That” by Future, Metro Boomin, and Lamar. After a series of diss tracks by the two, Lamar’s “Not Like Us” stood out the most, spending three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
While the song did go back up at the top after the Super Bowl halftime performance, it is the first time when Lamar and Drake have swapped places. Lamar’s GNX is now at the 3rd spot. This is also only the third time when the two have been in the top three at the same time in Billboard 200.
