Jacob Elordi Replaces Paul Mescal In Ridley Scott’s Post-Apocalyptic Thriller The Dog Stars

In a thrilling development for fans of cinematic storytelling, Jacob Elordi is reportedly in early negotiations to replace Paul Mescal in Ridley Scott's upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller, The Dog Stars. 

Mescal, originally cast as the lead, exited the project due to scheduling conflicts tied to his role in Sam Mendes' anticipated Beatles anthology.

Based on Peter Heller's 2012 novel, The Dog Stars follows Hig, a civilian pilot surviving in a flu-ravaged world at an abandoned Colorado airbase with his dog and an ex-Marine. Elordi is set to portray Hig, anchoring a story of survival, resilience, and human connection amidst chaos.

Jacob Elordi’s Career on the Rise

Elordi has earlier excelled in his standout roles in Euphoria and acclaimed films like Priscilla and Saltburn, and this opportunity could be a significant milestone in his rapidly ascending career.
