Lundgren's cancer struggle began in 2015, when he received a rare and aggressive cancer diagnosis. The actor kept his diagnosis a secret for several years, preferring to concentrate on his treatment and personal life while continuing his professional career. It wasn't until 2021 that he publicly revealed the scope of his battle and his determination to beat the cancer.
