NASCAR Driver Alex Bowman Has A Fleet Of Customized Cars

Alex Bowman owns an impressive car collection with some custom-made models like the bespoke 1966 Chevrolet C10. However, the famous stock car racing champ also likes to drive a Porsche beast like the GT3. Besides that, the driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports owns a modified Corvette ZR1 but he wishes to buy a new ZR1 1LE model as well.

Another one-of-a-kind custom vehicle in the NASCAR driver’s car collection is the 1966 Chevrolet C10 which has been swapped with GM’s LS7 engine and other necessary modifications. The C10 now shows off a classic pickup truck design with unrivaled driving performance.

Alex hasn't revealed too much about other customization and his connection to the truck. However, we will be updating as soon as the information is available. Meanwhile, his ownership of the C10 tells us that Bownman's taste in cars is quite diverse. From old school C10 to the modern Corvette, he keeps different types of machines but there is a common factor that unites them all i.e. performance.

7. Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 S Wagon

In his interview with John Newby, Alex Bowman was not shy of expressing his love of wagons. He revealed that he had multiple wagons but he has a particular liking towards the AMG E 63 model. He calls it the “ridiculously powerful”. He hasn't told us much about the specs and mods of the cars but we will be keeping an eye on any updates.

When you look at the pros of the Mercedes-Benz E63 wagon, it makes sense why Alex chose to buy it. Bowman likes a comfortable ride that doesn't compromise with the performance and this wagon delivers just that. Furthermore, it has an array of tech and safety features. So when the owner of the Dirt Midget and Sprint car racing team is traveling with his dog or some family member, he and the passengers are entertained and safe.

6. Cadillac CTS-V

There is limited information about Alex Bowman's Cadillac CTS-V. Alex has confirmed that he bought the car as a daily driver before the start of 2019. In his interviews, Bowman has also said that he likes cars that are "a little over the top". Hence, it is no surprise that the CTS-V has been modified and customized. The car has a Whipple Supercharger which provides better power gains and efficiency compared to Roush Supercharger. That is why the car makes around 800 horsepower.

Given Alex Bowman's habits, it is unlikely that he has made any changes to the interior or general infotainment in the car. Most of the modifications Alex gets done are related to exterior styling and mechanical hardware. Heintz Racing has posted a video on Facebook in which it appears that Alex's Cadillac has custom alloy wheels and titanium exhausts.

5. Chevrolet Tahoe RST

One of Alex Bowman's daily drivers is his white Tahoe RST SUV. He bought the three-row SUV in January 2018. Since then he has been spotted driving the same SUV regularly. Sometimes, Alex likes to roam around with his two rescued dogs - Finn Bowman, a charcoal Labrador retriever, and Roscoe Bowman, a beagle mix.

Having said that, Hendrick Motorsports driver, Alex Bowman owns the Tahoe RST Performance Edition which had a base price of $66,125.

4. Custom 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser

The first spot is reserved for the custom 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser and Alex bought it in early 2022. His crew ever since has been customizing the car to make it an overpowered beast. Having said that, the current market value of the regular 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser is around $12,839.

The Oldsmobile cars might be out of fashion for many but for Alex, it is a treasure. In 2022 on X, he posted a picture of his Custom Cruiser and wrote “I’m just gonna say my Oldsmobile is way cooler”.

3. Custom Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

The Custom 2010 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in the all-black paint job is an absolute monster. It is probably the most talked about car in Alex Bowman's car collection in the media. That said, Bowman first spotted the car in the Hendrick Automotive showroom. According to his interview with Athlonsports and a Facebook post, in 2016, Alex got convened into buying his new project at a Christmas luncheon organized by Rick Hendrick. Hendrick pursued Alex to get the Corvette ZR1 after the No. 44 driver inquired about the car after seeing it in one of Hendrick's dealerships.

Alex Bowman bought the black Corvette ZR1 and later started the modifications. We are aware of some of the specs and mods that Alex Bowman's C6 ZR1 has which include a Nitrous Outlet Blower Plate system with Carbon Fiber Dual Bottles as well. It was customized by Heintz Racing. Until 2018, Alex had already put 2000 miles on it. Meanwhile, we can't confirm the exact model year of the car but it is verified that his Chevy Corvette belongs to the C6 generation.

Furthermore, Alex has expressed his interest in buying a new Corvette ZR1 1LE after experiencing the driving prowess of his current ZR1. It remains a private affair how much Bowman has spent on his Corvette. After all, once in a while, he likes to send the car to Heintz Racing for new upgrades.

2. Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD

The Alex Bown car collection has a Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Dually. Bowman has talked about how he uses it to pull his forty-foot gooseneck trailer. However, the NASCAR driver hasn't revealed what cab style he uses. That being said, the base price of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Double Cab varied from $35,260 to $59,465 depending on the trim, and DRW configuration. Those who wanted the diesel engine instead of the standard 6.0L V8 gas engine had to pay an extra $9,000.

The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Double Cab came with the turbo diesel engine which was mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, a 6-speed automatic transmission was given for the 6.0L V8 gas engine. Furthermore, buyers can order the truck from four available trims where the Work Truck (WT) was at the base of the ladder while the High Country sat at the top. Besides that, Alex Bowman likes driving his 3500HD on the road but on track, he prefers to race in the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado RST.

1. Porsche 911 GT3

There is also a place reserved in the 2022 Pennzoil 400 winner’s garage for a sumptuous Porsche 911 GT3. While it’s a no-brainer that the GT3 sports significant changes for driving performance, it is popularly known for Forge line's one-piece forged monoblock VX1R wheels finished in Transparent Smoke.

The Porsche 911 GT3 has earned the title of one of the most iconic cars ever made and relishes its lightweight body and agile driving dynamics. It's a perfect car that matches the on-track personality of Alex Bowman.
