A recent country music concert in Greenville saw 13-year-old Ace Canady from the Midlands transform an ordinary dream into an incredible reality. Although he's been playing guitar for less than a year, his passion and dedication have taken him far beyond his backyard strumming sessions.

From backyard practice to the backstage

Ace's musical taste isn't limited to classic rock; he's also a fan of modern country, particularly Zach Bryan. So, when his dad, Jason, surprised him with tickets to see Zach Bryan in Greenville, the young guitarist was beyond excited. He decided to learn Bryan's song “Revival” in just a few days. Armed with a homemade sign saying, “I learned ‘Revival’ on the electric guitar for tonight. Let me play?”Ace set off for the show, hopeful for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
