President-elect Donald Trump has made crucial nominations and endorsements as he prepares for his next government. Notably, he has nominated Harmeet Dhillon and Mark Paoletta for key posts and supported KC Crosbie for a senior position in the Republican National Committee (RNC).


Harmeet Dhillon Nominated for Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights

Harmeet Dhillon, a well-known attorney and Republican National Committee member, has been nominated as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Department of Justice. Dhillon, who is well-known for her civil rights advocacy and Republican Party leadership, previously chaired the San Francisco Republican Party and has been involved in numerous judicial battles to preserve conservative ideals. If approved, she will be the first Republican woman and Republican of 

Indian origin to chair the Civil Rights Division.


Mark Paoletta Appointed as General Counsel of the Office of Management and Budget

Mark Paoletta, an attorney with extensive experience in government service, has been appointed as the General Counsel of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Paoletta previously served in the same role during the Trump administration from 2018 to 2021, and he has been recognized for his work on judicial nominations and defense of executive authority.


KC Crosbie Endorsed for RNC Co-Chair

In party leadership developments, President-elect Donald Trump has endorsed KC Crosbie to succeed his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, as co-chair of the Republican National Committee. Crosbie, the RNC treasurer and a representative from Kentucky, has been praised for her fundraising success and support for Republican candidates. Lara Trump announced her resignation from the position, claiming interest in a possible Senate candidacy in Florida.
