The 57th Annual CMA Awards: Top Performers, Winners, and Highlights

The 57th Annual CMA Awards were hosted at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and featured great performances, poignant speeches, and big wins. Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson hosted the event, which celebrated the best of country music in 2024.

Top Winners: Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson

Chris Stapleton won three main awards: Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Song of the Year for White Horse. This triumph propelled Stapleton to a record-tying 19 CMA victories.
Lainey Wilson, who also co-hosted the event, shone brightly, winning Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (Bell Bottom Country), and Musical Event of the Year with HARDY for Wait in the Truck. Her powerful rendition of Wildflowers and Wild Horses enthralled the crowd.

Morgan Wallen Wins Entertainer of the Year

Morgan Wallen, who led the night with seven nominations, won Entertainer of the Year. However, he was noticeably absent, and Jeff Bridges accepted the award on his behalf.

Honoring Legends

George Strait received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, featuring performances by Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and others paying honor to his legendary career.

Show Highlights

Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Cody Johnson, and more delivered noteworthy performances throughout the evening. Jelly Roll, the New Artist of the Year winner, gave a moving statement supporting perseverance, and Tracy Chapman celebrated her Song of the Year triumph as a songwriter for Fast Car.
The 2024 CMA Awards not only highlighted the present stars of country music, but also honored its heritage, with a mix of fresh talent and seasoned singers making a very spectacular evening.
