Steven Tyler is Back and rock fans couldn’t be happier! The legendary Aerosmith frontman returned to the stage on Feb 2, 2025, for The Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party. It was his first live appearance since the band’s retirement from touring last year.


Steven Tyler’s First Performance Since Retirement

Fans were dying for an update on Steven Tyler’s health after Aerosmith’s “Peace Out” farewell tour was suddenly put on hold. Tyler, now 76 years old, suffered an onstage larynx fracture in September 2023, which resulted in the eventual cancellation of the tour.


A Night to Remember: Tyler’s Electrifying Set

Tyler performed alongside fellow rock legends Tom Hamilton, Nuno Bettencourt, Mick Fleetwood, Lainey Wilson, and Chris Robinson. The performance, held at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, left fans thrilled. Steven and other artists performed a total of six songs including a rendition of Aerosmith’s “Toys in the Attic,” “More Than Words,” "Walk This Way,” "Dream On,” and "Sweet Emotion.”


Will Steven Tyler and Aerosmith's reunion happen?

Steven Tyler’s performance for his sixth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party was much celebrated. In May 2024, Tyler shared the stage with the Black Crowes in London to perform “Mama Kin”.

This marked his first time appearing on stage since the vocal injury. Now that we have seen him in full spirit once again during the Grammys, the possible reunion of Aerosmith is still on the table. Meanwhile, Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton with his new band Close Enemies is in progress.
