Despite his recent injuries, which include swelling and bruises on his face, Leno's perseverance shines through as he claims the injuries are "not that big a deal" and that he is determined to continue performing.

On November 18, 2024, Jay Leno, 74, experienced a fall while walking to a restaurant near his hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Attempting a shortcut, he descended a steep hill, lost his footing, and fell approximately 60 feet, hitting his head on a rock.

Injuries Sustained

The fall resulted in a broken wrist and facial injuries, including a swollen eye and bruises. Despite these injuries, Leno did not cancel his scheduled performance that evening. He appeared on "Inside Edition" and "TMZ," displaying his black-and-blue body and swollen eye.

Previous Health Incidents

This incident adds to a series of health challenges Leno has faced in recent years. In November 2022, he suffered second- and third-degree burns from a gasoline fire in his garage. In January 2023, he broke multiple bones in a motorcycle accident.

Resilience and Outlook

Despite these setbacks, Leno remains active in his career. He continues to perform stand-up comedy and has not canceled any shows due to his injuries. Leno maintains a positive outlook, stating that the pain is "not that big a deal."
