Zak Brown was spotted soaking in the thrill of his M8D at the iconic Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. He took to Facebook to share his excitement, saying, “What a fantastic way to kick off the Monterey Reunion, relishing every lap around Laguna Seca in my 1970 McLaren M8D Can-Am with the United Autosports team. Group Practice complete (P4), now it’s time to qualify tomorrow!”

Brown's particular 962 is a restored example of this legendary car, and it is sure to be a highlight of his collection. Interestingly, Zak Brown triumphed in the Group C race at the Le Mans Classic on July 9, 2016, clinching victory in the IMSA GTP class behind the wheel of the iconic 1986 IMSA Porsche 962. Not only did he take the top spot in his class, but he also finished an impressive seventh overall out of 35 cars.


3. McLaren P1

Well how can the McLaren P1 be left out of Zak Brown's car collection. Only 375 units of the P1 were produced, making it one of the most exclusive and sought-after cars in the world. In Zak's own words, “Next is my 2013 McLaren P1. I had a 675LT, which is a great car, and then I drove a P1 and the first thing that struck me was the sound of the turbo wastegates.”

2. McLaren Speedtail 

The McLaren Speedtail is a one-of-a-kind supercar and a recent addition to Zak's car collection. The Speedtail is the successor to the iconic McLaren F1, and only 106 examples exist in the world. Zak Brown played a key role in the development of the Speedtail and was spotted driving one at Silverstone.

Commenting on the three-seater design of the car, he said, "You’re sitting in front of the passengers and you’ve got all this glass around you. It’s very easy to drive. But when you put your foot down, it’s the fastest road car I’ve ever been in. The Speedtail is very exciting.”


1. Ferrari F50

The Ferrari F50 is a limited-production supercar and a real gem in Zak Brown's garage. With only 349 units produced, the F50 is a rare and highly coveted vehicle, and it is considered by many to be one of the best Ferraris of all time. With an estimated value of somewhere between $3.5 and $4 million, the Ferrari F50 is the most expensive car in Zak Brown’s car collection.

On being asked about his love for McLaren cars, he said, “No, they’re not all McLarens. The Ferrari F50 is an iconic car and mine is one of 30 in yellow. It was the last with a manual shift gearbox and it’s an awesome-sounding car. I love it. Who doesn’t love gorgeous Ferraris?” Well we couldn't agree more on this.
