11. Wolf WR1

Not every car in Zak Brown’s collection is a McLaren or European masterpiece. Alongside his fleet of McLarens, he also owns the legendary ex-Jody Scheckter Wolf WR1—the only car to win a Grand Prix on its debut before the 2009 Brawn BGP001. 

While Scheckter would go on to claim two more victories, it’s Brown’s car that etched its name in history by winning the first race of the season—the Argentinian Grand Prix. That alone makes this car even more enticing than it already is.

10. McLaren MP4/6

First in the list is the McLaren MP4/6. Zak Brown's McLaren MP4/6 is a classic Formula 1 car that is sure to be a highlight of any car collection. The MP4/6 was the car that McLaren used to win the 1991 Formula 1 World Championship with legendary driver Ayrton Senna behind the wheel. 

The car was powered by a Honda V12 engine and featured a number of advanced technologies, including a semi-automatic transmission and active suspension. As a fan of motorsports and classic cars, Zak Brown's McLaren MP4/6 is sure to be a prized possession in his collection.

9. Lotus 79

Zak Brown's Lotus 79 is a truly iconic vehicle, widely considered to be one of the most important and influential cars in the history of motorsports. The Lotus 79 was designed by Colin Chapman and Peter Wright, and was powered by a Cosworth DFV engine. It was raced in the 1978 and 1979 Formula 1 seasons, and was the first car to use what is known as the "ground effect" aerodynamic design. 

As a result, it produced an astonishing amount of downforce and grip, practically gripping the track like a magnet. 8. McLaren M8D

The McLaren M8D is a racing car that was developed by McLaren for use in Can-Am racing in the early 1970s. The M8D was an evolution of the M8B, and featured a number of improvements that made it even more competitive on the track. One of the standout features of the M8D was its powerful engine and the same model was driven by Carlos Sainz at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Zak Brown was spotted soaking in the thrill of his M8D at the iconic Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. He took to Facebook to share his excitement, saying, “What a fantastic way to kick off the Monterey Reunion, relishing every lap around Laguna Seca in my 1970 McLaren M8D Can-Am with the United Autosports team. Group Practice complete (P4), now it’s time to qualify tomorrow!” 

7. Porsche 959

The Porsche 959 is a highly sought-after and legendary sports car that was produced by the German automaker in the 1980s. As one of the first production cars to feature all-wheel drive and a twin-turbocharged engine, the 959 was considered a technological marvel when it was first released. 

Zak Brown is renowned for his impressive collection of rare and one-of-a-kind vehicles, and his Porsche 959 stands out as a true gem in his lineup. With a valuation of almost a quarter of a million dollars, we believe this iconic piece of automotive history is more than deserving of its price tag.

6. Porsche 935

Zak Brown's Porsche 935 is a true masterpiece of automotive engineering. The 935 was a racing car developed by Porsche in the 1970s, and it quickly became one of the most successful vehicles in motorsports history, winning numerous races and championships. Brown's particular 935 is a highly sought-after model, with only a few examples ever produced.

He was spotted behind the wheel of this stunning car at the Monterey Historics in August 2018, and to top it off, he posted about it on Twitter. Beyond the incredible performance of the car, we can't help but rave about the striking blue and yellow two-tone color scheme—it looked absolutely awesome in action.

5. AC Cobra 289

Zak Brown's AC Cobra 289 is a stunning classic that commands attention. The 289 model, the first to be built in the U.S., became a racing legend and remains a coveted collector's item. 

Brown’s Cobra dazzles in a bold blue with striking white stripes, bringing an extra touch of elegance to his collection. While sophistication may not have been his top priority, Zak Brown reportedly dropped nearly a million dollars to make this rare gem his own. Actually, Cobras are many F1 racer's favorite and Lando Norris owns one in his collection too. 

4. Porsche 962

Zak Brown's Porsche 962 is a true collector's item for any motorsports enthusiast. The Porsche 962 was a race car built by the German automaker between 1984 and 1991, and it quickly became one of the most successful sports cars of its time. The 962 won numerous races and championships in its seven-year career, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and it remains one of the most iconic race cars in Porsche's history. 

Brown's particular 962 is a restored example of this legendary car, and it is sure to be a highlight of his collection. Interestingly, Zak Brown triumphed in the Group C race at the Le Mans Classic on July 9, 2016, clinching victory in the IMSA GTP class behind the wheel of the iconic 1986 IMSA Porsche 962. Not only did he take the top spot in his class, but he also finished an impressive seventh overall out of 35 cars.

3. McLaren P1

Well how can the McLaren P1 be left out of Zak Brown's car collection. Only 375 units of the P1 were produced, making it one of the most exclusive and sought-after cars in the world. In Zak's own words, “Next is my 2013 McLaren P1. I had a 675LT, which is a great car, and then I drove a P1 and the first thing that struck me was the sound of the turbo wastegates.” 

He further added, " It looks unbelievably gorgeous and mine’s in Volcano Orange. The performance is outstanding. It feels much more like a high-performance car than the Speedtail, which feels like a cruiser in comparison. The P1’s quite aggressive, very aggressive looking and an awesome car.”

2. McLaren Speedtail 

The McLaren Speedtail is a one-of-a-kind supercar and a recent addition to Zak's car collection. The Speedtail is the successor to the iconic McLaren F1, and only 106 examples exist in the world. Zak Brown played a key role in the development of the Speedtail and was spotted driving one at Silverstone.

The Speedtail also happens to be the fastest car in Zak’s car collection. Commenting on the three-seater design of the car, he said, "You’re sitting in front of the passengers and you’ve got all this glass around you. It’s very easy to drive. But when you put your foot down, it’s the fastest road car I’ve ever been in. The Speedtail is very exciting.”

1. Ferrari F50

The Ferrari F50 is a limited-production supercar and a real gem in Zak Brown's garage. With only 349 units produced, the F50 is a rare and highly coveted vehicle, and it is considered by many to be one of the best Ferraris of all time. With an estimated value of somewhere between $3.5 and $4 million, the Ferrari F50 is the most expensive car in Zak Brown’s car collection.

On being asked about his love for McLaren cars, he said, “No, they’re not all McLarens. The Ferrari F50 is an iconic car and mine is one of 30 in yellow. It was the last with a manual shift gearbox and it’s an awesome-sounding car. I love it. Who doesn’t love gorgeous Ferraris?” Well we couldn't agree more on this.
