12. 1966 Pontiac Bonneville

The list starts with a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, a highly famous muscle car. The car owned by Diesel is a fourth-generation model that came with a Coke bottle profile.

This specific shape of the car made it extremely famous in the American market. It was also one of the longest-running cars ever made by GM, being in the run from 1958 to 2005. The car cost him $24,000.

This 6.9L engine was a $2,250 optional fitment on the model. The Bonneville was a full-size car and was also one of the longest Pontiacs ever made. It had a length of 222.6 inches and weighed close to 5,000 lbs. This car, back in the day was Pontiac’s most expensive offering in the 1960s and also helped the brand improve its sales number in the same decade.

11. 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Being one of the most fun-to-drive and popular road-legal street race cars does land you in the garage of an auto-enthusiast celebrity. Diesel got himself the Impreza WRX STI in 2009 and paid $38,795 for it.

In the same year, the Fast and Furious 4 movie came out which also showed a Subaru Impreza WRX STI in action with Paul Walker being the wheel.

Not much is known about Vin’s Impreza, but the car came in as a stock model with a turbocharged 2.5L engine that made 305 hp. The actor would have made some performance upgrades to the car as well, as a JDM car should be. Combined with the all-wheel-drive the car boasts one of the best driving capabilities in every terrain.

10. 1993 Mazda RX-7

The 1993 Mazda RX-7 is the one of three Japanese car's in Vin Diesel’s collection. A separate RX-7 was also featured in the Fast and Furious 2001 movie. In real life, the actor paid more than $40,000 for the car.

This beauty won the 1993 Import Car of the Year award from Motor Trend, as the car was never made in the States and was directly imported from Japan.

The Mazda RX-7 was one of the craziest sports cars back in the 1990s. It was powered by a Twin-turbocharged 1.3L rotary engine that made 252 hp and was based on the Mazda FD platform which belongs to the third generation. The car owned by Diesel is one of the very few and rare 2x2 models ever made, thus making it a highly special car.

9. 1994 Toyota Supra

Vin Diesel’s 1994 Toyota Supra is a fourth-generation Supra that came for $40,250. The car was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L I-6 engine that made 321 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque.

The engine was paired to a 6-speed manual which transferred power to the rear wheels. The Toyota Supra weighed a heavy 3,450 lbs with a weight distribution of 51:49 (front: rear).

Despite its 3,215 lbs of curb weight, the car sprinted from 0-60 MPH in 4.6 seconds with a restricted top speed of 155 MPH. An orange-colored Supra was also featured in the Fast and Furious which was driven by Paul Walker. This car recently went under the hammer for $500,000 along with $60,000 paid as auction fees. The portrayal of the car in the movie had a reasonable effect on its sales figures in the United States.

8. Customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van

If you’re an actor in Hollywood, you must have a customized luxury van of your own to take you places. And Vin Diaesel is not an exception either, as he has a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that has been customized to such an extent that it almost feels like an apartment by Rolls Royce. However, this was gifted to Diesel by Tyrese Gibson, his co-star in the Fast and Furious series.

The Sprinter is an excellent workhorse, and it is very reliable compared to some other vans available on the market. We don’t have an exact amount for the cost of customizing this van, but at the base price, the Sprinter van would cost you at least $43,500.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van has a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine that does not particularly fast, but gets the job done. The Van is more inclined towards the luxury and comfort aspect, and we have no doubt that it does very well in that aspect for Vin.

7. 1970 Chevy Chevelle 

As you’ve already seen, Vin Diesel has a very soft spot for old-school muscle cars, and the 1971 Chevy Chevelle in his garage just strengthens this statement.

Just like the Dodge gang in Vin Diesel's collection, the Chevy Chevelle is one of the most aspirational cars of the 1970s muscle car era. Nowadays, the 1970 Chevy Chevelle sells for around $67,000 in the used car market if it is in decent shape.

The vintage Chevelle SS in its 396 trim, came with a 6.5-liter V8 muscle car engine that produced a net 260 horsepower, depicting pure American muscle. The 1970 was the year Chevy decided to gives a new exterior design and like every other muscle cars, a platoon of engine options.

6. 1974 Plymouth Barracuda

The second classic car on this list is the 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. The car was bought by Vin Diesel for a price of $70,000. The 1974 Barracuda is the third generation and the last model of the car that was redesigned back in 1970.

This new model was based on the Chrysler E-Body platform that also underpinned the Dodge Challenger. The Barracuda was on sale from 1964 to 1974.

The car has a heavy enthusiast following and always grabs attention every time the actor takes it out for a spin. Due to stringent emission regulations, higher fuel prices, and increased attention to safety, the Barracuda’s sales dropped, resulting in the brand stopping the production of the model on the 1st of April 1974.

5. 2010 BMW M5

The 2010 BMW M5 was a great “family car” which came with superior performance and driving dynamics. Vin Diesel added one of these models to his garage for a price of $86,000, after shooting in a Fast and Furious movie.

The BMW M5 is the only German 4-door car in his collection. However, that might be because of the M5’s character that makes it more like an American performance muscle car.

The automatic transmission’s RPM was set to 1,500 for launch control. This fourth-generation M5 was the first production sedan in the world to use a V10 engine. The car propelled from 0-62 MPH in 4.7 seconds and had a limited top speed of 155 MPH. This M5 model sold 8,800 units in the United States, making it the largest model back then for the M Performance car.

4. 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

The 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona is a limited-edition car. This second-generation model cost a sold $90,000 when Vin Diesel bought it. The car is inspired by Dodge’s racing heritage and was limited to just 503 units.

The car was a successor to the 1968 Dodge Charger 500 and was meant to win NASCAR races. The first race won by the model was the inaugural Talladega 500 held in September 1969.

The Daytona was powered by a 7.0L HEMI V8 engine, which is a special collector engine as only 70 models were built with this setup. A Daytona was also used in the Fast and Furious 6 movie, which was a standard Charger modified to look like a Daytona and equipped with racing engines from Chevrolet. In today’s time, the Daytona is more of a collector's car, as not many models exist anymore.

3. 1970 Dodge Charger ‘Tantrum’

The 1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum model was a gift to him from the cast of Fast and Furious. The car was presented to him on his 52nd birthday on the set of Fast and Furious 9. On receiving the gift, Diesel expressed his gratitude for Paul Walker in the video.

The Tantrum was a restomod made by SpeedKore and used a twin-turbocharged 9.0L Mercury V8 engine.

The engine had a power output of 1,350 hp on regular gas which increased to 1,650 hp on premium fuel. The engine was paired with a specific Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission. The entire build consisting of the performance and cosmetic carbon-fiber changes cost over $600,000. The car was featured in The Fate of the Furious movie and the F9: The Fast Saga movie.

2. 2014 Lykan HyperSport

The 2014 Lykan HyperSport is the second most expensive car in Vin Diesel’s collection, costing him a solid $3.8 million. The HyperSport is an ultra-rare car, limited to just 7 units globally.

The car was featured in the Fast and Furious 7 movie, but it was a purpose-built model with cheaper materials. Vin Diesel’s car color is not known.

The HyperSport featured a twin-turbocharged 3.7L Flat-6 engine that has a claimed output of 780 hp and 708 lb-ft.

Lykan claims the car can accelerate from 0-62 MPH in 2.8 seconds and record a top speed of 245 MPH. The HyperSport was the first car to use embedded jewels in its headlights, making it the third-most-expensive car in the world at that time.

1. 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Grand Sport

Remember the silver convertible that Toretto and “O” Conner stole from a running train in “Fast Five”? Yes, that’s the car we are talking about. Vin Diesel actually owns the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Grand Sport, and the best part is that this car is super exclusive.

Chevy was trying to create a rival to the Ford and Shelby collaboration, and hence they planned a production run of 125 units of these lightweight Corvette Stingrays. However, for several reasons, only five of these Grand Sport models were ever made. Of these, three were coupes and two convertibles, and one is in the garage of Vin Diesel! The 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport had this 6.2-liter V8 motor producing a whopping 550 hp, and with the help of a 4-speed manual transmission, it reached 60 mph in just about 4.5 to 5.0 seconds, which is enormous if you consider the cars of that era.
