All Cars In Vin Diesel's Updated 2024 Car Collection

Vin Diesel’s car collection in real life is not as amusing as his fellow Fast and Furious costars such as Ludacris, Dwayne Johnson, and the late Paul Walker. However, he does drive some of the unique cars out there including a Dodge Charger ‘Tantrum’ which he received as a gift from the F and F cast members. 

6. 1966 Pontiac Bonneville

The 1966 Pontiac Bonneville is one of the few cars that resonates with Vin Diesel's personality. Its muscular outlook reflects the actor's physical charm while Bonneville's ride quality reminds us of his gentle nature. The car owned by Diesel is a fourth-generation model that came with a Coke bottle profile, a true American classic.

The Bonneville was a full-size car and was also one of the longest Pontiacs ever made. It had a length of 222.6 inches and weighed close to 5,000 lbs. Massive dimensions for an actor who himself has a height of around 6 feet. That being said, the average price for the 1966 Pontiac Bonneville is around $26,000.

5. 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

There are several cars that Vin Diesel has driven as Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious franchise. However, he does not have ownership of all of them. He has driven the Subaru WRX STI in the Fast & Furious 4 which also showed action with the late Paul Walker. Furthermore, despite reports claiming that the actor has ownership of the car, he is yet to be spotted on the streets driving the same. 

Not much is known about Vin’s Impreza, but the car came in as a stock model with a turbocharged 2.5L engine that made 305 hp. The actor would have made some performance upgrades to the car as well, as a JDM car should be. Combined with the all-wheel-drive the car boasts one of the best driving capabilities in every terrain.

4. 1993 Mazda RX-7

The 1993 Mazda RX-7 was also featured in the Fast and Furious 2001 movie. It is not to be confused with the orange RX-7 driven by Orange Julius. In the movie, Keith Imoto added several mods for the RX-7 including a safety cage and nitrous-oxide system. However, we don't think Vin Diesel would be driving the car with movie specs. His car probably has factory specs which are more than enough for a thrilling ride. 

The Mazda RX-7 was based on the Mazda FD platform which belongs to the third generation. The car owned by Diesel is one of the very few and rare 2x2 models ever made, thus making it a highly special car. This beauty won the 1993 Import Car of the Year award from Motor Trend, as the car was never made in the States and was directly imported from Japan.

3. Customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van

Rolls-Royce-inspired custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van in Vin Diesel's garage was gifted to him by none other than his Fast and Furious series co-star Tyrese Gibson. Diesel always talked about Sprinter with Gibson who had two of them. Eventually, he decided to gift this one-of-a-kind Van to his friend on his birthday in 2015.

Gibson posted an Instagram video before giving the van to Vin Diesel. He talked about how he admired Diesel for being a family man. Tyrese designed the Ghost Sprinter van in collaboration with ‘Van Masters'. Tyrese wanted Vin Diesel's One Race Production company to have its own bespoke van. Having said that, the exact specs of Vin Diesel's Ghost Sprinter are yet to be revealed.

2. 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

In Fast & Furious 6, Vin Diesel has driven the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona and according to some reports he even owns one model in real life. However, the specs of the latter remain unknown. That being said, seven Daytona model look-alike were built by Dennis McCarthy but only three survived, Edmunds claims. 

Dom drove the car in multiple scenes including one chase in Spain. Having said that, the Dodge Charger Daytona used in the movie had some differences compared to the famous Talladega 500 race-winner and NASCAR-dominating model. The front nose and rear spoiler were shorter than the original. There were fixed headlights and custom-made 18-inch wheels were used. 

1. 1970 Dodge Charger ‘Tantrum’

The 1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum model was a gift to him from the cast of Fast and Furious. The car was presented to him on his 52nd birthday on the set of Fast and Furious 9. On receiving the gift, Diesel expressed his gratitude for Paul Walker in the video. The Tantrum was a restmod made by SpeedKore and used a twin-turbocharged 9.0L Mercury V8 engine.

The engine had a power output of 1,350 hp on regular gas which increased to 1,650 hp on premium fuel. The engine was paired with a specific Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission. The entire build consisting of the performance and cosmetic carbon-fiber changes cost over $600,000. The car was featured in The Fate of the Furious movie and the F9: The Fast Saga movie.

6. 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Grand Sport

Remember the silver convertible that Toretto and “O” Conner stole from a running train in “Fast Five”? Yes, that’s the car we are talking about. Some reports will get you confused by saying that Diesel actually owns it but the reality is far from it. The actor doesn't own the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Grand Sport and it has already been auctioned off by Volo Auto Museum in 2023 for an undisclosed amount. 

5. 2010 BMW M5 E60

The 2010 BMW M5 was a great “family car” which came with superior performance and driving dynamics. Vin Diesel added one of these models to his garage for a price of $86,000, after shooting in a Fast and Furious movie.

In Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Dominic and his crew were given several modified BMW E60 M5s with a mission related to Owen Shaw. Each BMW gets totally wrecked in the movie except for Toretto's M5. 

4. Alleged Plymouths

As Dominic in the FnF franchise, Vin Diesel has sat behind the wheel of several classic cars, and the 1974 Plymouth Barracuda and 1970 Plymouth Road Runner are two of them. Furthermore, contrary to unverified reports, the actor doesn't own these cars in real life. 

3. 1994 Toyota Supra

The 1994 Toyota Supra is another famed vehicle that is included in Vin Diesel's car collection but technically it doesn't belong to him. It was Paul Walker's car that has been auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in 2023 for $550,000. That being said, according to the latest reports by People magazine, Vin Diesel is set to reunite with the orange Supra in the latest installment of the Fast and Furious Franchise. He has even posted a video on his social media platforms including Instagram to give this info. 

2. 2014 Lykan HyperSport

The 2014 Lykan HyperSportn from Furious 7 is reported to be one of the prized possessions of Vin Diesel. However, the Lykan HyperSport vaporware hypercar is not part of Vin Diesel's car collection, according to Autoevolution. 

1. 1970 Chevy Chevelle 

The 1970 Chevy Chevelle 2-door coupe has also been one of the preferred drives of Dominic Toretto in Fast N Furious 4. However, in personal life, the car is not under his ownership. The gray ‘Hero Car’ has been auctioned off by Lloyds Auctions in 2020. It also happens to be the most important car to the actor.
