Michael Schumacher was a professional F1 race driver who had been one of the best racers of all time and was sponsored by Ferrari and Mercedes themselves. In his private collection, he used to own a Fiat 500, like many of his Ferraris. This collection will bring together all of his favorite cars, which he used to own and still does to this day. Michael Schumacher has always had a close connection with praising a number of supercars. We will start off with one of the unexpected Fiat 500s from his collection.
11. Fiat 500 Abarth
Unlike the rest of his collection, the Fiat 500 Abarth was more of a private vehicle that he used to own for personal use. For the best F1 driver, it could be shocking that he owns a Fiat 500 and to add to that, the F1 legend didn't buy the car as it was a special Christmas present from Ferrari back in 1997.
Fiat 500 Abarth | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $17,750 |
Engine | 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine |
Horsepower | 101 hp |
Torque | 183 lb-ft |
Transmission | 4-speed manual |

Top Speed | 99 mph |
Michael received the 'Red' Fiat during the Christmas lunch in Fiorano accompanied by other drivers like Romiti, Montezemolo, and management staff of the Maranello Team. Schumacher even expressed his thoughts after receiving the Fiat saying “It was my first car, a nice gift that I wanted to have for a long time…”.
10. Bugatti EB110 SuperSport
It might surprise you a little bit but the 7-time F1 Champion bought a rare Yellow Bugatti EB110 SuperSport back in the 90s. Also, Schumacher's Bugatti model was one of 32 units ever built marking it way more valuable. He only had 2,875 miles on the clock before putting it up for sale back in 2010.
Bugatti EB110 SuperSport | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $750,000 (est) |

After Schumacher's Bugatti was sold to a guy named Sebastian Geisler in Rhineland-Palatinate, he had the car in his collection for almost 11 years. However, when flood-hit parts of North Rhine-Westphalia in July 2021, countless properties including Schumacher's Bugatti were partly damaged. An Instagram video was also released stating, “The poor man has lost everything. A million is here, money is there. Everything is broken”.
9. Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible
One of the first Mercedes E-Class convertibles that Michael Schumacher owns for off-track purposes is the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 350. The SLK 350 was unveiled at the 125th-anniversary party of Mercedes-Benz and Michael was invited to receive his SLK 350 Convertible alongside other drivers like Nico Rosberg and David Coulthard who also received their SLK models.

Despite being three inches longer, wider, and 90 lbs heavier, Schumacher's SLK 350 featured a cool tech with a weird name - Vario-Roof with Magic Sky Control. Basically, the top roof of the car becomes transparent when subjected to an electric charge and turns dark when the charge is removed.
8. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
A dark maroon Mercedes SLS AMG was completely manufactured from the ground up by Michael Schumacher. His custom-manufactured SLS AMG was not the only one, but his Ferrari Enzo was as well. It offered him new interior styling and leather-upholstered heated seats.
Mercedes SLS AMG | Specs |

Although the F1 legend was not seen particularly with his SLS AMG, Michael was seen shooting a stunt video showing off the SLS AMG's capabilities. Back in 2017, Mercedes-Benz put out a stunt video as part of their Gravity Challenge advertisement where Michael was seen doing an insane tunnel flip stunt.
7. Ferrari 430 Scuderia Custom
This Ferrari 430 Scuderia was custom-built for Michael Schumacher himself at no cost due to his undying partnership with Ferrari in his F1 championships. Being the greatest F1 driver of all time, his 430 Scuderia has been a big deal to celebrate his own success.
Ferrari 430 Scuderia Custom | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $216,444 |

Back in September 2007, the F1 legend joined the Frankfurt Motor Show and unveiled the brand-new 430 Scuderia custom model. Being part of the car's development program, Schumacher helped introduce the most advanced single-seater technology which was available only for Ferraris VIP clients.
6. Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE
The next one on the list is a Ferrari masterpiece that Schumacher personally tested on the track and loved the potential of the supercar. Back in 2009, Ferrari introduced the 599 GTB HGTE to the market and Schumacher was invited to test the car's potential first-hand on the Fiorano race track.
Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $310,523 |
Engine | 6.0-liter V12 engine |
Horsepower | 611 hp |
Torque | 448 lb-ft |
Transmission | 6-speed manual |
0-60 MPH | 3.3 seconds |
Top Speed | 232 mph |
Although Schumacher didn't express his take on the 599 GTB HGTE, the Italian brand was confident enough to introduce the model at the Geneva Show the same year. Being an F1 Racer, it is mostly certain that the 7-time F1 Champion surely loves his 599 GTB especially the Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione package (short for HGTE).
5. Ferrari 458 Italia
The Ferrari 458 Italia is the one that Michael loved dearly and had in his private collection for a long period of time. After Michael was done with his racing days, he purged himself with the design and engineering team of Ferarri to help build the 458 Italia that it is today.

Back in 2009, when Ferarri introduced the 458 Italia for the very first time, Michael Schumacher was the chief spokesperson for the model. The F1 legend even praised the 458 Italia during the event stating “…and if you think that this car basically beats the Enzo that has been already a car extremely performing in Fiorano, then I think it speaks for itself.”
4. Ferrari California
This might be an entry-level Ferrari, but Michael helped all the way to materialize the birth of California nearly 15 years ago back in 2008. The F1 legend did a 1-minute 30-second campaign video on Ferrari's official YouTube channel. Schumacher even highlighted the car saying, “…so looking at all the concept of the car right from the beginning to the end, and believe me I think we have a beautiful final resulting front of us…”.

Schumacher's personal California went up for sale back in 2012 after he used it for only three years. Michael's Argento Silver 2009 Ferrari California clicked only 9,720 miles on the clock and has been in top condition. Schumacher's California with the chassis number 168913 was listed through Boutsen Classic Cars of Monaco which is operated by his friend ex-F1 driver Thierry Boutsen.
3. Ferrari Enzo
Michael Schumacher owned this Ferrari Enzo from the beginning of its manufacture. Finished in the famous “Ferrari Red” color, the Enzo was his favorite on-road vehicle after the 430 Scuderia. Also, Schumacher's Enzo had a list of unique features that were only governed for his Enzo like the Rosso Scuderia red brake calipers, titanium finished wheels, dedication plaques, and Michael Schumacher logos embossed on the seats and door sills.

Michael had his Enzo delivered to him in Geneva by Garage Zenith, and after that, the supercar accumulated only 5,197 miles on the clock making it a holy grail in the F1 community. When the F1 legend was involved in a fatal accident back in 2013, the car initially was for grabs with a price over $1 million.
2. Ferrari FXX
The Ferrari FXX was solely built for Michael Schumacher, representing the F1 car for the road. His Ferrari FXX was all painted black and was hand-built by Schumacher himself. With a whopping $5 million of its MSRP, its powertrain and interior lobby have been its highlights.

1. Ferrari 248 F1
During his last season of F1 racing, the particular car he owned and used for the season was the 248 F1. It was the year 2006, and Michael Schumacher drove this beastly red 248 F1. He was the winner of the San Marino GP F1 in 2006 as well.
