“Sonic the Hedgehog 3” actor, Jim Carrey’s fortune is not reflected by his garage. He has owned cars like the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (R129), and Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 in the past. However, in a 2022 interview, Carrey confirmed that he only had a Tesla as a daily driver. Since then he has not been spotted with any new automobile.

Although Jim does wish to buy his dream car, the Ford Thunderbird. Besides that, Jim Carrey’s history with cars goes long back. He has done a famous scene with the Saleen S7 in the “Bruce Almighty” (2003) film. Besides that, in 2021, Variety reported that Jim Carrey gave a Chevy Blazer RS to a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) crew member.

5. Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (R129)

In 2000, Jim Carrey was spotted driving around in a Mercedes-Benz SL600 cabriolet/convertible with his daughter Jane Erin Carrey. His fan page on Instagram "jimcarreythebest" claims that Carrey's Mercedes was a mid-1990s model. That being said, the average price of R129 in the market is $30,332. However, in some auctions, the price has dipped even lower than $20,000.

The Mercedes-Benz (R129) SL 600 has a 6.0L V12 engine, rear-wheel drive, and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. It reached 60 MPH in 5.7 seconds and 100 MPH in nearly 6.1 seconds.

4. Tesla Model S 

In 2022, Jim Carry gave an interview to Supercar Blondie to promote his Sonic The Hedgehog Movie 2. During the interview, he revealed the type of cars he drives. He mentioned that he uses a Tesla as a daily driver. He didn't say which model. However, he has been spotted with a black Tesla which appears to be the Model S sedan.

The Jim Carry's Tesla Mode S specs and trim levels are not public yet. That being said, if you want to drive a Model S just like The Cable Guy (1996) star then the latest model would cost you at least$74,990. The more powerful Plaid model is priced at $89,990.

Finally, until 2022, other than the Tesla, there was no other car in the Jim Carrey car collection, the actor claimed. His garage was occupied by this car and some bikes such as the Harley-Davidson Road King Classic and BMW 1250 GS.

However, one of the cars he loves and doesn't have ownership of is the 1976 Lamborghini Countach. He was in the passenger seat of the Countach when he appeared on the Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee show hosted by Jerry Seinfeld. Meanwhile, his dream car is a 1969 Ford Thunderbird.

3. Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63

Jim Carrey's garage had a Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 convertible. Carrey's Mercedes had white paint. That being said, the model year of the car is not known yet. However, given the body styles it looks like a model around 2012 which had a starting price of $140,440.

This generation of the AMG SL 63 was powered by a 6.3L V8 which made 518 horsepower. It can go from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Furthermore, the car came with standard 19-inch alloy wheels.

2. Porsche Panamera Turbo S First Generation

The Porsche Panamera is the only German car in the Jim Carrey car collection. He has been spotted driving the same on multiple occasions. Reportedly, his black Porsche Panamera belongs to the first generation and has Turbo S trim specs. However, the exact model year of his car remains unknown. If it was the 2012 model, he could have spent at least $173,200.

The first generation Panamera Turbo had a 4.8-liter turbocharged V8 engine that produced 550 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque. The heavily loaded sedan can go from 0-60 MPH in 3.3 to 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 MPH.

1. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

The most expensive car Jim Carrey ever owned was a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and it seems that he no longer has the car. The way he talked in his interview with Supercar Blondie, implied that he had sold the car. After all, he did complain about getting the middle finger from people when he was driving the car. He doesn't even remember which Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren model he had. Although he did call the car "sick".

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was created in a joint venture between the McLaren F1 team and Mercedes-Ben. The average market price of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is $432,211. It is available in coupe and roadster/convertible versions.
