Sheck Wes

Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, better known as Sheck Wes, is a well-known American rapper. The fire-spitting rapper set the world ablaze with his 2017 viral banger Mo Bamba. The song lit up every party and peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a significant achievement. 

Sheck made some powerful moves in February 2018 when he signed with GOOD Music, and Cactus Jack Records, in collaboration with Interscope. However, Sheck's talents go beyond music. He's also a model, songwriter, and professional basketball player. All these ventures led him to gain an estimated net worth of $3 million.

With all these ventures under his belt, it's clear that Sheck Wes is far from a one-hit wonder. Whether it's dropping new music, starring in a fashion campaign, or balling out on the court, he's got his hands in a little bit of everything. 

Sheck's story starts in Harlem, New York. His music journey started as a way to cope with a tough childhood.  

• Fall began making music at age 11, to relieve stress due to his troubled childhood as he was raised in a hostile environment.
• Wes stated, "I grew up listening to all types of music, from Seun Kuti to DmX and ODB." indicating a wide musical taste from an early age. 
• During his high school years, he was really into basketball, but a chance encounter with a fashion scout led him to skip a playoff game and instead walk in Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden.
• By February 2018, Sheck Wes officially joined Kanye's GOOD Music and Travis Scott's Cactus Jack labels. 
• He hopped on Travis Scott's Astroworld on the track "No Bystanders" alongside the late Juice Wrld. 
• Few months after this, he dropped his debut album, Mudboy, flexing his range with tracks that hit hard. During an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the rapper stated, “I’m not a rose. I’m a mudboy, I came from nothing.”

Khadimou was born in Harlem, NY, and lived in the neighborhood till the age of 5. 

• At 5, he and his mom, Ella Kingsland packed their bags for Milwaukee, where he spent nine years before hustling back to NYC at 14. 
• Back in February 2019, Wes found himself in hot water when a video surfaced showing him stalking his ex, singer Justine Skye. After Skye publicly accused him of abuse, the drama escalated. Some of Wes'old high school classmates even chimed in, claiming he'd mistreated women back then too.
• Wes started dating social media star India Love in April 2019. But, by June 2019, she posted and quickly deleted a photo of herself with a black eye, hinting at more abuse post-breakup.
• Despite this, the two got back together later that year, only to publicly clash in June 2020. As the scandal unfolded, Wes was kicked out of a Major League Soccer campaign, and Justine reportedly sought a restraining order.
