Manchester City and Oasis have collaborated to create an exciting limited-edition kit to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Oasis' landmark record, "Definitely Maybe." This is their fourth kit of the season that honors the record cover that came to represent the musical palette of 90s music. The team will wear the limited-edition "Definitely City" kit during a few European matches, starting with their Champions League opening against Inter Milan.

The team worked with Oasis guitarist and passionate City supporter Noel Gallagher to create the new appearance. Gallagher said it was a dream come true to have the chance to create a uniform for a team he has supported since he was a young boy. His passion for the team produced a distinctive, striking design that honors Manchester's working-class origins and musical past. Gallagher claims that the design process was quick and easy, and that Puma's proposal to work together was accepted almost immediately.

'Definitely City' collection

The 'Definitely City' kit is more than just a jersey. Manchester City has also launched a full 'Definitely City' apparel collection, including track jackets, bomber jackets, drill tops, and a retro jersey, all using the same striking color scheme as the album cover. To promote the kit, the club recreated the iconic album cover with stars like Kyle Walker, Mateo Kovacic, and manager Pep Guardiola, alongside Gallagher himself.
Through their collaboration, Manchester City and Oasis have produced an emblem of Manchester's lasting cultural influence rather than merely a football uniform. The thrill of "Definitely Maybe," which is now enshrined in City's European campaign, endures just as long as Oasis' music does.
