Kyle Kuzma And Winnie Harlow Got Engaged At Their Dream Destination

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram, Winnie Harlow announced that she and Kyle Kuzma are getting married. She showcased an 8.5-carat ring that Kuzma specially designed himself. He even wrote a poem that concluded with the question, “Will you be my wife?”

The Proposal?

Kyle Kuzma planned the proposal six months ago, but the idea came to him during a vacation with Winnie in Turks and Caicos in 2022. It was their first trip together, and they were having the time of their lives. Harlow told Kuzma that it was the best day of her life, which made him realize that it would be the perfect spot to propose to her.

The preparation and the date 

On February 13, 2025, Kuzma told Harlow about his plans for a romantic long weekend getaway to a Caribbean island. This trip was more extravagant than usual, as Kuzma had chartered a private plane. Harlow believed he was just being particularly romantic for Valentine's Day.

In an interview with Vogue, Harlow recalled that she didn’t even notice the details on the plane at first. The cabin was beautifully decorated with flowers, balloons, chocolates, and champagne.

"I still had no idea what this was," she said. "I just thought, ‘This is so cute for Valentine’s Day, oh my gosh!’
Kuzma even wrote a poem for Harlow. At one point, Harlow thought it would be so cute if this was an engagement. "Maybe it was just a fleeting thought in my head," she reflected. It wasn’t until he reached the last line of the poem, which asked, "Will you be my wife?" that she realized her intuition was right. Kuzma had selected an 8.5-carat ring with two baguette stones on the sides, and the ring was designed by Kuzma himself.

Involvement of loved ones and families

When they landed, Harlow tried to call her sister, but she didn’t answer. After that, Harlow called her mother, but her mom said she didn’t have time to talk and hung up. As they moved inside their villa, where both Harlow's and Kuzma's families were waiting, she realized the missed connections. For the rest of the evening, they enjoyed a surf and turf dinner with plenty of wine on the beach. To Harlow's delight, Kuzma had one more surprise for her: fireworks. “We’re over the moon,” Harlow said.
