He owns cars of different brands like Audi, Aston Martin, Bentley, and even Porsche, to name a few. 6. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera

Behold! And Be Aware! Before you miss out on a glimpse of this fast British supercar on the road. Becoming a brand ambassador for Aston Martin has its own perks, and getting to choose your ride is the cherry on the cake.

He chose the gray DBS Superleggera and was spotted with Kate Wright after their engagement. Well, an Aston Martin can be quite thirsty, and Ferdinand was even seen filling up at the gas station on the very same day. 

5. Aston Martin DB11

Well, here’s another Aston Martin in the form of the legendary DB11. Rio owns a white Aston Martin DB11, and it looks stunning from any angle you look at it. 

He shared a picture of himself standing beside the white beauty on Twitter and looking dapper. He wore a white Nike team jacket and white shoes to match his ride.

4. Bentley Continental GT

Another British in the house! The Manchester United Defender bought himself a Continental GT after being suspended from the club in 2004 for a period of eight months after a random drug test.

His all-new silver Continental GT was parked right outside a Manchester restaurant while his teammates were training for the Champions League match against Porto.

3. Audi Q7 

Well, well, Audi Q7 cars have been in the garage of several footballers like Keiran Gibbs, Wayne Rooney, and Luis Nani, to name a few. So, Rio owning one is no big deal. It serves as an ideal practical car to go for training.

Mr. Rio was also spotted driving one in the UK and captured by media personnel in 2013. The black Q7 seemed pretty basic with no modifications, and its plain black interiors added to the bland look. Nah! We don’t like subtle Audis when they are meant to be glitzy!

WillKommen! One more German SUV in the form of a Porsche Cayenne is always welcome. Rio Ferdinand owns a Cayenne Turbo’s Magnum Techart Edition. 

He has been spotted driving one in black and surely knows a lot about customizations. The Magnum Techart edition incorporates several aerodynamic, weight reduction, and performance mods to get your heart racing

1. Jaguar XJ

The Jaguar XJ is certainly an uncommon car among footballers. But Rio Ferdinand got one for himself as an ambassador. He was spotted driving it a few times and leaving MU’s training ground when an unfortunate incident happened.

He crossed the speed limit of 50 km/h while driving at 60 km/h. It was not the first time he had violated the speed limit. The Manchester court finally confiscated his driving license after this incident.

Well, buying a dozen cars and selling them is just another thing in the lives of footballers. Besides the ones mentioned above, Rio Ferdinand was spotted driving a blue Ferrari and arrived at the Thorp Arch training ground.

He was also the owner of the Aston Martin Vanquish S and was spotted on a Sunday drive in 2012. Considering the time period of over a decade, it’s highly unlikely that he still owns these cars. It’s possible that he sold these cars, but they deserve a special mention.
