Here’s What Comedian Tom Segura’s Car Collection Looks Like

Tom Segura is an American comedian and actor who is mainly known for his popular podcast and sarcastic stand-up jokes. The comedian has a net worth of 12 million as of this writing and has also done TV work and film roles.

That said, Tom also has a soft spot for performance cars . In an interview with KFC Radio  he revealed his interesting take on cars and how one should experience a  sports car in a lifetime. Surprisingly the comedian actually learned to drive a manual in  his late 30's (38 years old to be precise) after ordering a M2 Competition.  He also recommends one of the host to buy a Porsche, depicting his love for the brand.

8. Porsche 911 Carrera S

When we talk about top-class sports coupes, the brand Porsche comes across the debate quite naturally. Tom Segura’s Porsche 911 Carrera S is one of the best high-performance vehicles that Porsche has ever produced. Priced at $123,000, the car boasts a perfectly aligned body profile and aerodynamic superiority for better performance on the road.

Do not get us wrong though, the compact coupe also features a driver-focused cabin, bucket seats, and an upscale interior. Tom loves his Porsche and the thrilling ride that comes with its powerful engine. However he has better Porsche's in his garage that we are going to talk further.

7. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

One of Mercedes iconic creations to date is the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. The exotic coupe from Mercedes was co-developed with the help of McLaren and built with a track-focused mindset. Initially, the base curb weight was reduced to have the edge in the performance department but the signature gullwing doors required a reinforced fixed roof resulting in 88 pounds of gained weight.

Besides its one-of-a-kind styling, the car boasts top-notch cabin tech like the Mercedes-Benz COMAND system and four distinctive drive modes: Manual, comfort, sport, and sport plus.

6. Range Rover Sport

Well, it seems that Tom’s SUV preference is also about performance. The luxury sports SUV is one of Tom’s prized possessions and has been seen driving around with the car. The midsize SUV has off-roading prowess which is integrated with Pivi Pro technology and has a starting price of around $83,000.

The SUV features the most recent infotainment tech and various optional top-notch gizmos. The price is also reasonable considering the offerings and application field. The car comes with different powertrain options like a normal gasoline engine, a hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid system.

5. Chevrolet Chevelle

The Chevrolet Chevelle is one of Tom’s tributes to classic cars from the '60s and '70s. The Chevelle was produced over 14 years and 3 generations and is a piece of the history of America’s automobile industry. Tom’s garage features the SS version of the Chevelle and it is a midsize coupe.

The iconic front grille with the SS badging and dual fog lights on both sides creates its magnetic charm over other classics. Bigger wheels and a swooping roofline give the car a sport-like vibe while keeping the classic enchantment attached.

4. Ford Mustang

Last but not least, Tom Segura completed his bucket list of cars with his favorite Ford Mustang. This midsize sports coupe has been a flagship model for Ford for many years and is still kicking well. Available in different versions, Tom’s Mustang is the one with the EcoBoost engine.

It cost around $31K for Tom to buy the Mustang and to be honest, the looks, style, interior, and performance are a steal for that price tag. To complement the sports-focused model, the car has a rear wing for better aerodynamic capability in projected situations.

3. BMW M2 Competition

The BMW M2 Competition is one of the highly sought after drivers cars in the current lineup, and serves as an entry level product for the serious “M” motorsport division. Although it is the smallest car in the lineup the M2 Competition uses the same S55 twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine in the M4, with a little detune to maintain the hierarchy.

We embrace the fact that Tom bought this car in a 6-speed manual configuration. It shows that the comedian loves the art of driving, and with the shorter gear ratios of the M2 Competition provides more engagement and lets you have all the control over the car. The two-door coupe is also well known for its ability to provide fun, and Tom bought this machine to do just that.

2. DeMan 4.5L Porsche 992 GT3 Touring

Porsche is widely considered as one of the best car manufacturers in the world for their engineering excellency. One of their recent creations is the Porsche 992 GT3 Touring. It is a mechanically identical but more road oriented version of GT3 RS (their full blown track monster).

There are not many people who tune their Porsche’s, Tom belongs to the few that do. So he sent his “boring at first GT3 Touring” to DeMans to get it souped up like his “Collection Ruiner” (that we are going to talk about in a second).

DeMans Motorsports, is a widely acknowledged tuner worked on the car and increased the bore of the naturally aspirated flat-6. The result was a 4.5 liter flat-6 that revs up to 9000 rpm and produces 88 hp and 81 lb-ft of torque than the stock setup. According to Tom, he was spoiled by his Porsche GT4 that was earlier tuned by DeMan and wanted something that provides similar level thrill in a more accessible package. Best part, it's his daily driver.

1. DeMan 4.5L Porsche Cayman GT4

This is the favorite car owned by Tom Segura, and he cannot stop praising his DeMan 4.5L Porsche GT4. In the KFC Radio and The Smoking Tire video, the celebrity openly depicted his love for the car and also gave it a tag “Collection Ruiner,” since the car altered his perception of a good car. The GT4 in stock is already a great car, however Tom turned the notch up with the help of DeMan Motorcars. Segura uses his GT4 for all sorts of recreational purposes and according to him is the greatest car in his collection.

This was his first Porsche to get tuned from the DeMan and they did the same big bore treatment making it a 4.5 liter flat-6. The tuning helped the car to gain a massive power bump of 154 hp and 143 lb-ft more, over the stock car. DeMan also made the gear ratios shorter to increase the acceleration of the car and make it more engaging. According to him there is only one way to drive his Cayman, “Always Bananas.”
