Manuel Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca or professionally, Anthony Quinn, was born on 21 April 1915 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Before rising to fame as a prominent movie artist, Quinn earned his livelihood as a professional boxer and ended up studying architecture and art under Frank Lloyd Wright. In the late 30s, Quinn finally delved into acting and went on to have a colorful and glamorous career as we know it today. Courtesy of his long career, he accumulated a vast wealth of approximately $20 million when he passed away back in 2001 at the age of 86. Unlike several movie stars, he kept rather quiet about the cars he loved and owned but his 1976 Jaguar XJS came out into the limelight eventually.

While the car was offered in two powertrain options, Quinn got himself the more powerful one carrying the V12. The XJS successfully carried on the legacy of the legendary Type-E, especially with that chunky motor under its hood. At the time of purchase, the 1976 Jaguar XJS had approximately cost Quinn around $34,700.
