That year, he drove a pace car, a Corvette, at the Indy 500 at a speed of 143 mph. But that wasn't the fastest he had gone in a car, as he had gone faster in his BMW 745.

4. First Generation Toyota Tundra 

One of two trucks in Morgan Freeman's car collection is the first generation Toyota Tundra. The Tundra was Toyota's bold entry into the full-size pickup truck market. It was designed and manufactured in the United States and blended Toyota's renowned reliability with the demands of the American truck buyer.

Featuring a sturdy body-on-frame construction and available in Regular Cab, Access Cab, and Double Cab configurations, the Tundra offered versatility for various needs. The Tundra impressed with its smooth ride and capable handling, and its reputation for durability and low cost of ownership further solidified its appeal among consumers. The base trim of the 2000 Toyota Tundra had a starting price of $15,345.

3. First Generation Chevrolet Silverado

The second pickup truck in Freeman's garage is a first-generation Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Silverado 1500 embodies the ruggedness, versatility, and dependability that Chevrolet trucks have become renowned for.

The Silverado 1500 offered a variety of cab configurations, including Regular Cab, Extended Cab, and Crew Cab. Under the hood, the first gen Silverado 1500 offered a variety of engine options, ranging from a base 4.3-liter V6 to V8 engine options, including a 4.8-liter, 5.3-liter, and 6.0-liter. The base trim of the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado had a price tag of $15,355.

The base 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 came equipped with a 4.3L V6 engine, delivering approximately 200 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It featured rear-wheel drive as standard, with an available option for four-wheel drive for improved off-road capability.

2. Ninth Generation GMC Yukon Denali

The only SUV in Morgan Freeman's car collection was the ninth-generation GMC Yukon Denali. The Denali was the flagship trim of the Yukon lineup and was around 45% more expensive than base trims. The Yukon Denali offered seating for up to eight passengers, with ample space and comfort for everyone on board. It used premium materials and upscale touches all around the interior.

The one car that Morgan Freeman admitted to going faster than an INDYCAR pace car was the BMW E65 (4th generation and series). During an interview with Sports Illustrated back in 2004, Freeman mentioned that the fastest he had ever gone in a car was 153 mph in his trusty BMW 745i. This was 10 mph faster than he had gone in a Corvette during the 2004 INDYCAR weekend. When asked by the interviewer if he had achieved this personal best in Mississippi, Morgan refused to answer.
