Check Out Nickelback Lead Vocalist Chad Kroeger’s Car Collection

Kroeger mainly gained attention by being the guitarist of the rock band Nickelback, which he co-founded in 1995 with his brothers Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake, and Brandon Kroeger. Since then the band has released several albums and sold over 50 million records worldwide. In addition to this Kroeger is also known for collaborating with several other artists, he wrote and song on “Why don’t you and I” for Santana’s album Shaman, and produced music for bands such as Default, Theory of a Deadman, and Bo Bice. He has been nominated for several awards and has won a significant number of them too, which also includes the Juno Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2004. Kroeger turned towards the famous American Automobile Repair shop, West Coast Customs for this unique build. Basically, the brainchild of Chad Kroeger, the sole purpose of laying hands on the 1977 6X6 Dodge Street Van of Kroeger was to feature it on the band’s album, Get Rollin’, the song reminisces about the 70s surfer vibe, and the yellow color with red highlights does the job pretty well.

The Dodge Street Van comes at a price of $10,100, but surely the retail cost of the same wasn't even near that amount considering where it was bought from and the level of enhancements made to it. It comes with a 5.9L V8 engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission that produces 188 horsepower and 290 b-ft of torque.

2. 4th Gen Hyundai Elantra

Chad uses the 4th Gen Hyundai Elantra as his daily commuter for easy spins around the city. He was also spotted with this car back in 2015 during his divorce from Avril Lavigne, where he was spotted packing up his personal items into the back of his Hyundai Sedan.

The Hyundai Elantra uses a 1.6L Inline-4 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission that makes 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. The car goes from 0-60 in 11.3 seconds at the top speed of 113 mph.

The 1969 Ford Boss 429 Mustang is a powerful muscle car that was designed for NASCAR events back in that time. The car was sold only for two years and won several hearts which included Chad Kroeger’s as well, the vehicle held a special place for him and he was often seen taking it to random spins. However, Chad sold this Candy Apple Red beauty at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This Ford Mustang boasts a 7.0L V8 engine coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission that produces 375 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. This system makes the car hit the 60mph mark in 6.5 seconds at a top speed of 118 mph.
