David Lee owns around 25 to 30 cars and he likes to keep the total count of cars in his garage around that number. David Lee’s car collection is worth around $50 million and is dominated by Ferrari. That’s why his name famously gets called out as Ferrari Collector David Lee.
David Lee's car collection includes the 250 Lusso Competizione, Ferrari 275 GTB/4, 330 GTS, 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder, 288 GTO, LaFerrari Aperta, and the latest 2024 Purosangue. Meanwhile, David Lee is trying to replicate his experience at 7-Eleven during his high school times in his cars. That’s why he has categorized cars in “ketchup”, "mustard", “Slurpee”, and “relish” collections as they were condiments. Well at least, someone is cooking with cars. Have you heard of Gordon Ramsey?
Ferrari Collector David Lee’s “Big Five” Ferrari Collection
Known for being a premium Ferrari client, Ferrari Collector David Lee’s Ferrari collection is just out of the world. However, his most famous Ferraris known as the “Big Five” or “Mustard & Ketchup” collection houses some of the best Ferrari supercars to date.
25. Ferrari 288 GTO (The Dream Car)
When David Lee was in high school, he saw the Ferrari 288 GTO in the Road & Track magazine which captivated him. Its impression on him never faded to the point that he ended up with his ‘dream car’. That's why driving the 288 GTO fitted with the 80s’ Twin-Turbo fitted V8 engine gives Mr. Lee all the goosebumps he had as a teenager. For him, it is the most beautiful and awesome Ferrari out there.
1985 Ferrari 288 GTO | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $3.7 Million |
Engine | 2.9L twin-turbo V8 |
Horsepower | 395 hp |
Torque | 366 lb-ft |
Transmission | 5-speed manual |
0-60 MPH | 4.9 seconds |
Top Speed | 189 MPH |
The 1975 288 GTO had only 272 units ever built and to make it even more interesting, David has his all-time favorite car in pairs - one with a classic Ketchup-Red exterior (US-spec) and the other one in a rare Mustard-Yellow (Europe-spec) color scheme which had more than 30,000 miles on it at the time of purchase. Besides that, the yellow 288 GTO was also the mystery car that David Lee teased about. The average value of the 1985 288 GTO is around $3.7 million. Meanwhile, David Lee also bought the prototype model, the 288 GTO Evolution in red.
24. Ferrari F40
The next one on the list is the infamous Ferrari F40. Being the first production car to go over 200 mph makes the F40 a special one in David Lee’s car collection. This was also the last car that Mr. Enzo worked on wanting to put a race car on the road, eventually putting Ferrari on the world map.
1987 Ferrari F40 | Specs |
---|---|
Price | $2.3 Million |
Engine | 2.9L twin-turbo V8 |
Horsepower | 478 hp |
Torque | NA |
Transmission | 5-speed manual |

Top Speed | 201 MPH |
Well, just like his 288 GTO David also has his Ferrari F40 in pairs with Mustard/Yellow (Europe-spec) & Ketchup/red (US-spec) color combination. The difference between these two models is mediocre. While the US-spe version has three exhaust outlets and over-the-shoulder seat belts, the Europe-spec model has a more unique triple exhaust outlet way and a four-point harness seat belt configuration. That said, the Euro spec Ferrari F40 in David Lee's garage used to be red originally before the repaint.
23. Ferrari F50
If you are wondering which supercar David Lee enjoys the most while driving, it's his Ferrari F50. The first of its kind, the F50 came with an F1 V12 engine while most of the bodywork sustained carbon-fiber components making it surprisingly quick and lightweight at the same time.

Mr. Lee has his F50s in the same “Mustard & Ketchup” theme pairs but the only difference is that the US-spec model (Red) has a soft top while the Europe-spec (Yellow) comes with a hard top. Also, his Yellow or Giallo Modena F50 is among one of the original 31 units to be ever produced. Besides that, before these two, David Lee has owned three F50 models.
22. Ferrari Enzo
Named after the great “Enzo Ferrari” himself, David’s garage features the infamous Ferrari Enzo supercar with both a “Mustard & Ketchup” color combo. The red Ferrari Enzo was his first million-dollar car after which he started collected the big five of Ferrari.

The Ferrari Enzo holds much more history as the Legendary Ferrari F1 Racer Michael Schumacher had personally worked on the F1 car’s transmission at that time which later became part of the Ferrari Enzo’s machinery. Built with only 399 units, the Ferrari Enzo was the first car to have butterfly doors in a car but also the bodywork was done after taking inspiration from the infamous Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet.
21. Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta (The Crown Jewel)
Lastly, the crown jewel of the “Big Five” in Mr Lee’s collection is the 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. With only 210 units ever built, David Lee’s LaFerrari Aperta is unique as it has the “David SK Lee” name engraved on a gold plate sitting on the bottom of the steering wheel. Before the Aperta, David originally had a LaFerrari Coupe in his collection which he sold to Robert Herjavec a few years ago.

17. 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider
Another masterpiece to add to David’s garage is the classic 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider. The car was featured in the TV series and became Ferrari’s free advertisement worldwide.
16. Restomod 1973 Ferrari Dino 246
Named after Enzo’s son Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, the Dino 246 was a cool car but lacked power because of its 192-hp V6 engine. David felt an urge to foresee what Ferrari could’ve done with the Dino. Well, after a good talk with his buddy Magnus Walker who is famous for modifying 911s, David ventured into 18 months of uncharted territory of modification using only original Ferrari OEM parts.
After the job was done, David spent over $1 million on the customization process, which resulted in a one-of-a-kind Monza Dino 3.6 Evo. The car features a Ferrari V8 engine fitted with a fuel injection system, churning out 400 ponies. Other cool features include MoTec onboard computers, recast 17-inch wheels, KONI Suspension, 328 transmissions, and new radiators. Basically, the whole car has undergone a deep custom job.

Likely, Ferrari chooses very wisely to whom their prized F1 cars should be handed over to carry out their historical legacy. Back in 2017 when David already made a lasting profile as one of Ferrari’s VVIP customers, the Italian Automaker picked Lee for his first-ever F1 car to be handed over.
At first, he was offered famous F1 racer Fernando Alonso’s F1 car but the Ferrari collector respectfully declined it. A few months later, Ferrari again offered Lee another F1 race car but this time around it was the legendary F1 driver Michael Schumacher’s F2002 championship-winning F1 Car. As Ferrari finally accepted the need to change their marketing strategy and the urge to step foot into the SUV world, the most anticipated model among other Ferrari cars has been the Purosangue. Just about a week ago on March 28, 2024, David posted a video on his YouTube channel showing his newly bought Yellow 2024 Ferrari Purosangue.

2. New Ferrari 488 “Burgundy” Pista Spider In David Lee’s Garage
The next one on the list is one of David’s favorite Ferrari models - the 488 Pista Spider. This particular car holds a special place in his car collection as it features a very special exterior paint job - the historical “Metalic Burgundy” color alongside an Ivory stripe.

1. The Silver Ferrari Roma
Back in 2021, David added the new Ferrari Roma to his collection. While the base price of the Roma at that time was about $222,000, David’s Ferrari Roma came with a price tag of $270K for the added packages and attachments.

A 4.0L 769-hp V8 engine with a hybrid powertrain capable of reaching 0-60 in just 2.1 seconds! Hell yeah, it looks like Mr. Lee knows which cards to play and how far he can go when buying a Ferrari montage. There is even a video of him getting his SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano delivered while making a garage tour with the famous YouTuber and enthusiast Tim Shmee back in 2021.
2. 2016 McLaren P1 GTR
If you’ve got bored of hearing and reading about the different species of Ferraris from the Stone Age, here is a McLaren for you. To celebrate 20 years since their victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, McLaren announced that they would be bringing back the GTR name by making a track-only version of the P1.
McLaren ended up making 58 units of the track-only P1 GTR. 27 of the 58 track-only P1 GTRs were modified to become road-legal, and David Lee has one of them in yellow. The road-legal version of the McLaren P1 GTR is very rare and is estimated to cost around $5,000,000.
1. 2015 Pagani Huayra 730S Da Vinci
Around 2016, David bought the one-off Pagani Huayra 730S Edition from film producer Alejandro Salomon. He has since upgraded the Huayra with the Pacchetto Tempesta package.
He then ended up renaming it the Pagani Huayra 730S Da Vinci. The original selling price of the Huayra 730S Edition was $2,400,000 in 2015. Since then, its value has increased a lot and is rumored to be worth more than $3,000,000. Later, back in 2022, David sold his Pagani for a good deal.
This is it for now what Ferrari Collector David Lee’s car collection has to offer. As we know, Mr. Lee’s collection is always dynamic putting something new to his collection every now and then, we will be back with new updates in case he adds new cars to his collection. Until then stay tuned.
