A closer look at the car collection of DeadMau5

Producer and performer of progressive-house music from Canada, Deadmau5, has a $50 million fortune. The Canadian DJ first gained notoriety in the early 2000s and is best known for the mouse-shaped helmet he dons while performing. He is currently one of the world's highest-paid music producers and throughout his career, Deadmau5 has received six Grammy nominations. With a hefty net worth, the famous DJ who dons a mouse mask has been on a buying spree of cars. Having said that this DJ artist is so fond of supercars and hypercars that he has named his Ferrari a “Purrari”, and Lamborghini a “Nyamborghini”. He has got notoriety owing to the vicious naming of his cars that led Ferrari to file a case against him. He has a large collection of supercars inside his garage. He previously owned luxury cars such as a Bentley Continental GT, a Tesla Model S P85D, and a Porsche 911 Carrera. 

5. Ferrari 458 Spider (Purrari)

The Italian sports vehicle manufacturer claims the Canadian DJ musician named his Ferrari the "Purrari" on purpose. Moreover, Ferrari issued a cease and desist order, alleging copyright infringement, even though many people thought the automobile was distinctive.

A 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque powers the Ferrari 458 Spider. The 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission drives the rear wheels. The 458 Spider has a peak speed of 202 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds.

4. Lamborghini Huracan (Nyamborghini Purracan) 

The Ferrari 458 Spider’s infamous naming was not enough for this $50 million net-worth Canadian DJ artist, so DeadMau5 went on to change the nomenclature of the sporty Lamborghini Huracan. He named the Lamborghini- Nyamborghini Purracan.

According to the reports, the reason why he named his car in that fashion was because of its resemblance to the Nyan Cat. The Lamborghini’s insignia is also replaced with the leaping purring cat. Nonetheless, the infamous name of the Lambo Huracan, Lamborghini did not do a Ferrari with DeadMau5.

A 7-speed dual-clutch Doppia Frizione transmission transmits the engine's 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The engine is a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10. The "Purracan" has a peak speed of 212 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds.

3. McLaren 650S

At the 2015 Gumball 3000, Deadmau5 drove his McLaren 650S. It was wrapped entirely differently and looked like a queen of cards.

According to what is implied on Deadmau5's Snapchat, he adores his McLarens.

The 3.8-liter V8 engine of the McLaren produces 616 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The 650S, equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission tops out at  207 MPH while it can zoom from 0-60 MPH in just 2.8 seconds.

2. McLaren Senna

Apart from the fact that it is named after the famous Ayrton Senna who broke most of the F1 records in the early 90s, this car is owned by a few individuals on this planet.

One of them is a DJ artist, DeadMau5. The red 2-seater is often seen on racing tracks with the DJ artist DeadMau5. He has also posted many pics of this beauty in red on his Instagram channel.

The British automaker McLaren produces the Senna in a limited amount. Its V8 mid-engine configuration generates 590 lb-ft of torque and 789 horsepower when mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The Senna can reach 60 mph in under 2.8 seconds of acceleration, while it has a peak speed of 208 mph.

1. McLaren P1

Like the McLaren 650S, the McLaren P1 is a fast supercar. The Dead Mouse DJ, DeadMau5 took this McLaren to the Gumball 3000 rally.

Unlike the McLaren 650S which was draped in Queen of Hearts, the McLaren P1 is painted in Spades.

The P1's total output from both engines is 903 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission transmits this power to the vehicle's rear wheels. This McLaren sports car tops out at 217 mph and can do 0-60 in just 2.7 seconds.
