Manny Khoshbin’s Hermès Hypercars Are The Flex Of The Century

Manny Khoshbin's renowned car collection has a sub-category that can put the rest of his collection to shame

What’s better than owning a Chiron, Huayra, and a Speedtail at the same time? For Manny Khoshbin, it's to get them all dressed by Hermès, creating a Birkin-covered hypercar trinity that no one else in this world can afford.

Warning- Brace for overly complex & fancy French vocabulary.

Bugatti Chiron habillé par Hermès

I took my time to draft the car and that was very much a conscious decision – this is a car that I will one day hand down to my son, it will live for generations”.- Manny Khoshbin

Which in simpler terms means, Chiron dressed by Hermès. Owning a Chiron is not an easy task and getting Bugatti to customize one on request is a feat on its own. I guess the fact that Hermès is also French and Billionaire Manny Khoshbin wanted to name his son Ettore helped get past the Molsheim red tape a bit.

This one-off Bugatti Chiron owned by Khoshbin is covered in a shade of white called “Craie” AKA off-white. The color unusually covers parts like the grille and mesh on side intakes which, FYI, have a custom design of their own inspired by Hermès’ logo, and look pretty posh from first glance onwards.

Inside Hermès has used a special ‘Ecru’ leather. After a quick Google search, it turned out to be a semi-aniline variety of hide known for its suppleness and texture but can get patina really fast if not maintained properly. The leather covers almost the entirety of Khoshbin’s one-off Chiron’s interior including seats, middle console, inner signature line, roof, and rear panel plus the doors’ clasps.

Eagle-eyed readers will also notice a lot of horses prancing around the cabin in the form of embroidered motifs. They are called ‘Courbettes’ and were chosen to represent the Chiron’s gargantuan 1500 horsepower quad-turbo 8 Liter W16.

Hermès McLaren Speedtail

‘Normally, only vintage cars come into the workshop. Having a car here means we can push things a bit further with the designers and craftsmen – it gives you more ideas about details.’- Hermès Designer Axel de Beaufort

The second Hermès car in Manny Khosbhin’s collection has some truly sci-fi quirks like flexible ailerons( the rear of the car is flexible and acts like a spoiler), central driving position, and a shape so slippery that it allowed Speedtail to reach 250 mph with just 1036 hp. Manny is truly lucky to get his hands on one as even Rowan Atkinson lost his chance to win a build slot. He has plenty more, tbh.

Manny’s Speedtail does not feature any exterior modification like the one of Bugatti. Likely, to preserve the car’s wind-sculpted dynamics but does come in a rich shade of paint called Abyss Blue.

Inside the usual super soft Hermès leather is there which Khosbin is too afraid to touch and has to wear an amusing NBC suit every time he jumps in. The car also has coordinates for both McLaren and Hermès factories etched on either side of two small displays.

There are no sun shades in the McLaren Speedtail, instead, you get a fancy electrochromic windshield that changes the tint depending on the external conditions.

Sadly tho, the Speedtail isn't legal in the USA as it lacks physical side-view mirrors. As such only 2500 miles are allowed per year, thanks to a law, gear-head Bill Gates helped put in place. Not a problem though as Manny will probably flip it to another garage queen specialist.

Hermès Pagani Huayra

"The car I admit sings to you as you push the throttle and lay back!" - Manny Khoshbin

Covering a Pagani Huayra in Hermès leather is like asking a painter to paint Salvatore Mundi atop the Mona Lisa. Is it necessary no, is it cool, HECK YEAH X 100.

Horacio Pagani’s masterpieces are a rolling work of art as it is and Hermès took the game a couple of notches above.

This particular Huayra is also fitted with a proper hardcore 'Pacchetto Tempesta'. Which comes with Titanium exhaust, stiffer shocks, forged aluminum wheels, and a new splitter with an underbody. It's kind of like the Weissach package available with Porsches, for reference.

This $7 million Hermès Huayra follows the earthly palette for coffee and beige colors all around.

The exterior is covered in bespoke brown carbon fiber and the interior has the usual Birkin-grade leather along with a rather exclusive Hermès shifter.

The hypercar also comes with a matching luggage set and an eye-catching Hermès grill located behind the fenders. Manny also recently disclosed that his Huayra costs $8000 annually to maintain and that's without putting any miles on it whatsoever. Yikes.

The Huayra has a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 Mercedes-AMG engine with around 720-770 hp and can reach 220 mph.
