Simu Liu, a China-born Canadian actor, author, and stuntman, is known for his famous role as ShangChi in Marvel Universe’s movie ShangChi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. The actor was the protagonist of the movie. He was also seen at times in various other television appearances, like Kim’s Convenience, a sitcom by CBC Television; Blood and Water; second cast and stuntman in Sick: Survive the Night; Heroes Reborn; and many more. His next project is Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie,' where he will be seen alongside , , Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, and others. 

He has been named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World for his memoir, We Were Dreamers. His memoir, 'We Were Dreamers, mentions the traumatic time his parents had to bear when they were in Beijing, China, in Simu’s early childhood. They had to experience China’s Cultural Revolution and their subsequent ‘Tiger Parenting style. He mentioned that he felt that his parents wanted him to get rid of his life of joy and happiness and recalled the weight of what he describes as impossible expectations. The actor rode through all these hardships and has now earned all this fame and respect. He made a humble and hardworking start as a stuntman and is now a full-time actor. All these hardships have finally paid off, and now he does own quite a lot of cars.
