Luxurious list of Akon’s Car Collection

In an interview with the YouTube channel Revolt in 2023, Akon explained the reason he got attracted to collecting cars. “A lot of my likes just come from wanting to be accepted among the crowd,” and his fans understand the reason behind this statement. “That’s how I got into everything, including cars because cars made me feel special,” Akon said.
If you admire Akon, the aforementioned statements from the Senegalese-born singer explain his deep love for his collection of cars inside his garage. As per his statement, Akon owns more than 32 cars, and it was not possible to find all of them on the internet, as we don't have a picture of each of his cars with the celebrity. But, we do have Akon’s most exciting cars here on our hands to explore.

21. Mercedes-Benz S-Class AMG Sedan

Akon posted his picture of himself with a Mercedes S-Class on his social media handles in 2020. The American Singer was clicked in his sporty white outfit, sitting inside his Mercedes Sedan while posing with a victory sign.

In his recent interview with the Cruz Show in October 2024, Akon expressed the sense of accomplishment and freedom he enjoyed after purchasing the Mercedes S-Class car.

20. Mercedes-Benz G-Class

In 2022, Akon posted a clip of him attending a launch event on Instagram, and in the background, we can see the Mercedes G Class. The 32-year-old rapper was at the launch event of an advertising agency in his Mercedes SUV and the famous hip-hop artist looked ready to rock the stage.

Although, Akon was donning the party-ready look in his all-black outfit, contrasting the white color Mercedes-Benz SUV.

19. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

Akon has a long range of cars, and many of them are Mercedes. In 2022, Akon posted his picture with the Mercedes Sprinter Van on Instagram, looking dapper in his red outfit while getting clicked getting out of the car.

Mercedes Sprinter is the only Van inside Akon’s collection of cars.

Well, we have Akon posing with his new and upgraded Tesla Model X Plaid 2021, which ensures the singer's passion for the fast crossover SUV EV. With a big smile on his face, the picture clearly shows Akon's love and passion for Tesla electric cars.

We know that Akon has been very fond of Tesla in the past, as it has taken the game to the next level for electric cars.

17. Tesla Model S

Akon has been a fan of Tesla and it is evident from one of his interviews available on the internet that he loves Tesla and its exciting electric cars. In the same video, the American Singer revealed that he owned all the Tesla cars available in 2013, ranging from Model S to Model X.

Although we don't have Akon pictured with his Tesla Model S, his passion for Tesla's effort towards making automobiles sustainable and exciting is well known.

16. Cadillac Escalade

Akon was spotted with his black Cadillac Escalade while attending the NBA Finals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2010. Well, it is not known which basketball finalist the American singer was going for but his love for the color white was evident not from his car but from the bright white shirt he wore.

Coming to the American continent from the South African part, Akon’s choice of the Cadillac Escalade SUV isn’t surprising.

15. Range Rover Evoque

Well, the presence of another white luxurious car in his garage does not surprise us at all. Along with his Range Rover Evoque, Akon was spotted wearing a yellow tracksuit in Los Angeles in 2018.

The singer was at a restaurant for his dinner and we wouldn’t be surprised if the American singer chooses to add another Land Rover luxury car to his garage, as this Range Rover is 8 years old.

Akon looked happy on his trip to provide turkeys to a school in Georgia in 2009, and the celebrity was accompanied by his Range Rover. Akon has a fondness for white cars and even added a white Range Rover to his garage despite this classic Range Rover.

It was a bit of a surprise to us that Akon's car was black, and the clothes Akon was wearing weren't white either.

13. Rolls Royce Phantom

Akon is a car lover and his garage has almost all the luxury items. Talking about luxury, the Rolls Royce is one of the special cars with which the American singer has posted his pictures on Instagram.

The Senegalese-born rapper wore a black outfit and posed, possibly contemplating, in the photo.

12. Mercedes AMG GT 53 Coupe

Akon is a huge fan of white luxury wheels and to prove the same, he posted a picture of himself looking like a rockstar in front of his Mercedes AMG GT Coupe.

Akon's house in the back of the Mercedes AMG GT Coupe adds more value and emotion to the picture.

11. Bentley Continental GT Convertible

The Bentley Continental has been in Akon's garage since 2009, and the singer can be seen showing off his amazing cars in the video. However, the most interesting part of the video comes when the singer can be seen filling up gas from his gas station on the lawn.

In the video, we also got a look at Akon’s own 2008 model Robinson R44 Raven helicopter, which was parked on his property and putting on an extraordinary display for all of us.

10. Bentley Continental GT

Akon can be seen posing in front of his white Bentley Continental GT 2018 with a model sitting on top of it. Akon has another Continental GT 2009 in his collection of cars.

We are a bit confused between two possible reasons, whether he likes Bentley so much that he had to get the new model, or it is his love for white cars that made Akon add another Bentley to his garage. However, it could be true for both.

9. Bugatti Veyron

Akon posed for a picture with a Bugatti Veyron at a famous store in the city in Dubai in 2021. Perhaps this was enough to make his fans speculate that the American celebrity has bought this Bugatti car.

Akon is one of the most popular faces in the American music industry, and his passion for collecting cars has also become a phenomenon among his fans.

8. Porsche Panamera

Akon was seen busy on a call while posing for a photo with his Porsche Panamera and the American hip-hop artist, wearing a white outfit, that matched the color of the Panamera. 

Porsche is one of his favorites and in the past, celebrity has expressed his excitement about the EVs from this Luxury segment automobile manufacturer.

In 2011, Akon's collection of white cars was rallied at the V103 Car and Bike Show in Atlanta, Georgia, and the AUDI R8 was one among them.

The addition of another Lamborghini to Akon’s garage shows us just how amazing the experience must have been for Akon with this first Lambo.

One of the coolest things in Akon's car collection is the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren (2012). Akon's picture with his Mercedes Benz SLR in 2012 once again makes us think about his love for white cars.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a unique machine in Akon's collection of cars, as its production was discontinued in 2010.

4. Spyker C8 Aileron

The Spyker C8 is one of the special cars with which the hip-hop artist has posted a picture on his social media profile. In this picture from 2012, the American singer can be seen posing proudly with his hands on the steering wheel and putting special effort into making it a collage.

Although Akon posts pictures of his cars on social media, there are very few cars he wants to show us all. We understand that, since the American millionaire owns more than two dozen cars, it would be hard to pick one of his favorites.

3. Ferrari 458 Italia

Akon seems to be an ultimate lover of the contemplative mood in clicks with his cars, as we can see in the rapper's picture with the Ferrari. This 2020 Insta post of the Ferrari 458 Italia has received over 59K likes on Akon's social media handle.

Again, Akon’s white outfit matches the white Ferrari and we expect Akon to post more often about his car collection on his social media handles.

2. Lamborghini Murcielago

We have a photo of Akon posing with his Lamborghini Murcielago, and we also have reports of the singer's Lamborghini being up for sale on eBay. We don't know if the music industry icon still owns this amazing car.

However, since no one has purchased this car from Akon, we assume that the 2006 model Lamborghini Murcielago is still with its original owner.

1. Bugatti Aventador

Akon has many supercars in his garage and Bugatti is one of those brands. Standing with his orange Bugatti Aventador, model 2021, Akon posed casually in a picture on his social media platform.

Bugatti is the favourite car of any race lover and we have seen Akon visiting the racetrack many times.

Special Mention

Several articles have reported that Akon owns the Darts Combats Prombron, as there are reports of the American singer being interested in purchasing this armored fighting vehicle. However, no report confirms whether Akon has purchased the Darts Combats Prombron, nor do we have any photos of the celebrity with the automobile.
