7. 2008 Ferrari 612 Sessanta

Let’s start the list with something special, signifying extravagance and human bond. The 2008 Ferrari 612 Sessanta (Scaglietti) in José Mourinho’s car collection is truly magnificent as it was one of just 60 examples ever produced to celebrate Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary.

Also, it was not bought by him but was gifted by none other than Roman Abramovich. It came as a surprise to everyone as the gift came to Mourinho’s door just five months after he was sacked by Abramovich. In 2009, he was spotted driving a black/gray dual-tone car in Milan, Italy.

6. 2010 Aston Martin Rapide

The first British car on the list of Mourinho’s car collection is none other than the spectacular 2010 Aston Martin Rapide. He bought this car in 2010 after winning the first FIFA World Cup as a manager.  It’s very close to his heart, and he even suggested to his children to keep it forever and never sell it.

He was spotted cruising in his black Aston Martin Rapide near Tottenham's training ground a day after he was sacked. As per reports, he was there to help his background staff collect their stuff from the facility. A few actors, like Rowan Atkinson and Jason Statham, also share their love for British cars, the Aston Martin in particular.

5. 2017 Jaguar XJ L

José Mourinho’s collaboration with the British brand is no secret after he appeared in a commercial for the same. He was spotted multiple times being chauffeured in his black XJ L. However, he did not enjoy driving in England and hence was never seen behind the wheel of this car.

During one of the instances, Mourinho was also given an armed escort to his XJ L after he returned home with his Manchester United squad following two weeks in America. The exact model year of the car could not be judged from the images, but we assume it to be the 2017 model year. The Jaguar XJ also served as a daily driver for singer Neil Diamond.

4. 2017 Jaguar F-Type

Another Jaguar on the list. Mourinho owning one is no surprise, but certainly special. Serving the role of UK brand ambassador has its perks. In 2014, he became the first customer in the UK to get his F-Type customized and delivered as per his terms. The Stratus Gray Metallic exterior shade is something one’s eyes cannot miss, even if they want to.

He was captured posing alongside the sleek car with pride and stated, “I am very proud to now own the new F-Type R Coupe. "It was an honor to receive this spectacular sports car from the gentlemen responsible for building it, and I would like to thank the Jaguar team at Castle Bromwich for producing such a wonderful car.”

3. 2017 Jaguar F-Pace

Yes, brace yourselves, there’s another Jaguar on the list. The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace has been Mourinho’s choice as a daily and reliable driver for quite some time. The sleek black SUV has been the fastest-selling Jaguar, and he became the 100,000th F-Pace customer. 

He was elated to visit the factory to receive his car and stated, “It was an amazing experience to visit Jaguar’s factory and see all the cars, technology, and hard work that goes into developing such a beautiful car. Jaguar is a brand that I have been involved with for many years.”

2. 2012 Audi A8

Welcome the German sedan to the list of dominantly British cars. Audi was once the sponsor for Real Madrid, and in 2012, Mourinho, who was the head coach of the team, received a silver Audi A8 at the Jarama Racetrack in Madrid, Spain. 

Fast forward to 2021, he was spotted in another Audi A8 while being chauffeured. The Audi A8 has also been an all-time favorite in the garages of Jennifer Aniston and Chris Evans, to name a few.

1. 2020 Audi Q8

In June 2020, Mourinho was appointed as the new brand ambassador of Audi UK. Besides making big stacks of money, he was presented with the new Audi Q8 in black. 

Audi was the car partner for Tottenham Hotspur, and it was natural for the team's manager at the time to get one for himself. He even posed with his new car and looked pleased while experiencing it from the driver’s seat.

Special Mentions

• Honda Civic

We know that the first one is always special, and the saying holds for cars as well. The Honda Civic was the first car that he bought for himself. The Honda Civic became a quick replacement for the silver Renault 5 that was gifted to him by his father, and he started driving it as soon as he was 18. 

Anyway, the details about this car remain scarce, but it holds that he believes in good quality rather than flashiness. Even Hollywood star Mila Kunis owns one in her car collection.

• Suzuki Vitara

Not every car in a celebrity's car collection is associated with fond memories. When José was working under the mentorship of Bobby Robson, he used to move around in a Suzuki Vitara. In 1996, while driving his car, José was involved in a crash. 

He stated,“ It was late, and when I was driving back to Portugal, I fell asleep. "I was really lucky - I broke a few ribs and had some stitches in my head, so nothing huge. Luckily, he was saved, but the car was no good to use further.

• 2021 Audi A8 L

As mentioned earlier, José was seen exiting the Tottenham training ground for the final time in a black Audi A8 L. However, it could not be ascertained whether the car belonged to his car collection or was just a hired ride to get him home.
