From humble beginnings with a basic video camera, Tim Burton, widely known as Shmee150, has built an empire around his passion for supercars. His channel started as a hobby documenting car events, but it soon grew into a global brand with millions of subscribers and followers. Tim Burton, born on September 17, 1987, in London, England, developed a love for cars from a young age. He studied at a local university but soon decided to drop out and focus on his passion for cars and creating content.

• Left school after passing his A Levels around 2005, after which he owned an electronics web store.
• He would eventually sell that store to become a ski instructor in New Zealand. He would return to the UK soon after an unfortunate fall.
• Upon returning, Tim started studying again but dropped out a few weeks later. He then secured a job as part of the technology team at an investment consultancy firm in the City of London.
• Soon after, he began posting pictures of special cars on Facebook and online car forums around 2008, treating it as a hobby.
• In January 2010, Tim launched his YouTube channel, Shmee150, uploading his first video featuring two supercars at a Top Gear event.
• Initially, Tim stayed behind the camera, focusing on capturing unique and exotic cars rather than appearing in the frame himself. 
• Shmee was a name he used for websites when he was around 9-10 years old. He would eventually add 150 to the name after finding out that ‘Shmee’ was already taken.

Shmee150 developed an interest in cars thanks to grandfather and father.

• His grandad was a rally co-driver and a car enthusiast. He would also take part in supercar rallies, in his Noble M12 GTO alongside one of his cousins.
• His dad also developed an interest in cars, thanks to his granddad. He would eventually share this interest with Tim.
• Some of his earliest car memories that sparked a desire for cars include him driving around in his grandad’s M12 GTO and watching another cousin of his take part in the 2002 and 2004 Gumball 3000 supercar rallies. 
• Not much else is known about his parents besides the fact that they own a Hyundai Tucson and a feisty Aston Martin V12 Vantage.
• He has a sister, named Jennie who has appeared in a few of his videos. Just like his parents, the only other thing known about her is the car she owns, a Ford Fiesta and a Mercedes-Benz C200 Sport Cabriolet.
